The one that rises to the top is almost never the one that lead the revolution.

As long as we help them reclaim their own countries afterwards.

If travelling is fun then I will like it. If it's incredibly boring and tedious then I won't like it. I think a lot of people also have that viewpoint.

The younger ones are like that but the older ones are pretty good. I do feel bad for a lot of the younger people for sure.

Benjamin Netanyahu was going to get kicked out of his own government for trying to rewrite the constitution to take power away from the people and towards himself and the Israeli Supreme Court (which he controls), lets this already planned Hamas attack happen to gather support from the populace and solidify his position.

It already is. Should get wild heading into September and beyond. Wouldn't be surprised if Israel firebombed all of Gaza and then the EU makes some cohesive European nation with a population of 5 million take in the million+ remaining Palestinians.

The normie leftists are not horrible people to be around when nothing related to politics or the culture war is the current topic. Many are quite nice and cheery even. A lot are your usual bleh centrists that listen to what the telievision says but they would easily join our side with a little convincing. Only a relatively small fraction are insane and a danger to be around.

Red October is fantastic. My first Clancy book and I was hooked from the first few pages, it was so much fun trying to piece together this conspiracy and how the pieces will move before it all happens. A sufficient level of technical explanation for the nerds like me as well.

My parents aren't wealthy enough to own multiple properties, neither are my grandparents, I'm going to have to get it all on my own.

Yeah I'm toast lmao

They also pick some boring new books too, always about either the holocoaster or oppressed black women. I was interested in sci fi and military stuff and I only ever got to read two things that I liked ("For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "1984"). Nowadays I read a lot of technical books on military equipment, aircraft, maritime, science stuff. Nothing we would have ever read in Middle or High school.

"You've got to pull yourself up by your bootstraps! Back in my day we bid against foreign institutional investors and elders buying 3 homes for their own personal use as well, and we won those bidding wars with our salaries from bagging groceries! You young ones are just lazy and entitled!"

Medical people are arrogant, prideful and in some cases, pure evil.

I feel like these drone attacks could easily be stopped with a few soviet era radar SPAAG. Just guns, no missiles. Would be cheaper.

I feel like the CIA coup of Ukraine in 2014 will be regarded as either the start or the equivalent of the Spanish Civil War.

I'm prime conscription age and a lot of young men I know are of the same opinion, if they try to conscript it only ends with a lot of dead people at home.

More gun laws are obviously needed in Australia.
