I played only the first kingdom hearts when I was a kid. Didn't play any others.

Just finished this one and you're right about the story, it didn't wrap up nicely. Felt like a patchwork job to close up a bunch of plot points from other games which I only got the jist of. But coming into it with knowing nothing of all the games between KH1 - KH3 it wasn't that difficult to follow the story.

I can only say that from my perspective is been mostly good because of the wholesome nature and absence of modern day degeneracy/woke insertion.

Likewise for the gameplay, I can only really compare this to other action RPGs and not past kingdom hearts games. Combat was probably my favourite part of KH3. And I liked that the maps weren't massive. Linear and short but open enough to explore a bit.

But yeah tldr I've only played KH1 a long time ago and now this game
