I didnt say it the article written by a Jew said it and framed it as a good thing and it didnt say "all jews" either.
I didn’t even comment on the article.
you should be able to acknowledge that jews are the leading cause of a lot of certain things even if its "not all jews"
First, Muslims are not a race, they’re a shared religion and ideology. At the very least you can say Muslims share a common set of beliefs and goals. The Jews you’re referring to are neither religious nor share an ideology. They’re simply a race. Implying they share a common cause or agenda and/or are conspiring together to do “certain things” is an incredible and totally unsubstantiated claim.
Second, what certain things are the Jews the “leading cause” of? This is an incredible claim and you need to be more specific.
Someone made an analogy the other day that I really like:
Say you had a pinata with $100 in it, and you gave someone a bat and asked them to demolish the pinata and keep the money, they would likely do so with no hesitation.
Now tell them there's a 50/50 chance the pinata also has a kitten in it. Most people wouldn't destroy the pinata because the chance of crushing and killing a kitten isn't worth it for most people.
The pro-lifers are those who either know there's a kitten inside OR admit they're not sure and aren't willing to take the risk just to be safe. The rabid pro-choicers are those who don't know if there's a kitten inside but keep telling themselves and others that there's not in order to justify destroying the pinata for the $100.
The Left are those people who value the $100 (their own personal convenience) so highly, that they're willing to risk killing the kitten (human baby).
Basically, they're sociopaths.
If a Muslim wrote about how they want to plan Jihad and someone else claimed all Muslims were violent sociopaths and we have a "Muslim problem" in the USA... yes, I would certainly point out how unreasonable that was.
Nonsense, I’ve debated people who are prejudiced against Jews, blacks, Latinos, Russians, and even Muslims. I will challenge the rationality of anyone who holds irrational positions.
I replied to someone else, not you. As you mentioned, all you did was post the article. If you are not “anti-Jewish” then why did you reply to my comment (to someone else) about people who are “anti-Jewish”?
Reasonable criticism of anyone is fine, but no reasonable person would take the opinion of one person and extrapolate it out to an entire ethnicity or race, as if one person represents everyone from that group. The only reason you do it in this case is because you think “the Jews” are a problem.
As someone who does a lot of writing and creative work, I can totally relate to losing interest in a project or suffering from long-term writer's block. That said, If GRRM would just be honest with himself and acknowledge that he's just not capable of finishing the books, he could take steps like choosing a ghostwriter to help him finish the stories while he's still alive and can still direct the stories according to his original vision.
As a layperson, the problem with GRRM seems to be his inability to admit he has a problem.
People can be both victims and perpetrators at the same time. In fact, we all are to some degree.
Everytime you hurt someone, even on accident, it has the chance of leaving a real impact on that person. The impact that you have on them then has an effect on how that person treats others. Abusers are often victims of abuse. It's a cycle of being hurt and hurting others, even in small ways that may not have been intentional at all. This is a fact of life.
Living as if any person or any group is solely either the victim or the perpetrator is simply wrong. It's so obviously wrong that grown adults instinctively recognize it as wrong when they see one-dimensional characters presented in fiction. Children don't see these types of characters as one-dimensional because they don't yet understand the contradictions inherent in human nature, but anyone who has matured beyond childhood instinctively recognizes the contradictory nature of being a human being.
In the meantime devout evangelical Christians are getting married young and having lots of kids. I think this is for two reasons:
-
They have a priority/value system that isn't completely based on shallow factors like income or appearance. Yes, money, fame, good looks all still matter, but much less so in these communities (remember communities set the standard for value judgements), and they also extend their values beyond this to include religious and character-based value judgements.
-
Sex outside of marriage isn't an option and raising a family is the goal, so couples often marry young. This does three things: (A) if you can't get your "fix" until you're married, you're more likely to keep your standards reasonable so as not to remove yourself from the game, (B) if women marry young, they're less likely to be corrupted by toxic femininity in the culture today, and once they have kids, that will be their focus, (C) if men marry young without many (or any) prior partners, they're more likely to remain faithful and be content with what they have.
It's amazing how none of them even acknowledge that there is another person's body involved other than the woman's.
They either understand this or are ignoring it, or they just don't understand the other side's arguments at all.
As interesting as that statistic is, the source is the SPLC so I find it dubious.
The source actually makes me more inclined to believe the conclusion -- because it's in their best interest to conceal this fact -- but the SPLC isn't a reliable source in general, so who knows how accurate the underlying data is.
The study also said that 34% of young Republican men support assassination. No doubt they wanted this to be higher, and oddly enough 40% for young Republican women.
Not intending to channel my inner u/TheImpossible1 but... there's a good chance the woman is the one dragging them out there to do this. The guy is probably apolitical and the wife has probably been brainwashed by social justice on social media or through her friend group. This is what happens when men, particularly husbands, are weak and don't set a good example for their wives and daughters. This is a far too common story.
Women are much more susceptible to suggestion and manipulation than men are.

This is one of the reasons why the left targeted women as one of their first constituency groups.
It's also true that when men are strong, step up and set the example, women will follow. This means the man in this picture is also at fault here.
It really says something about you when the most challenging thing you can do in order to demonstrate your dedication to a cause is show a little restraint by not having sex.
Self-restraint is anathema to the Left -- everything they believe in is about abandoning restraint and living like animals -- so I'm sure this is difficult for them.
He’s one of the last great moviestars who actually loves his profession and gives 110% in all of his roles. Say what you want about his craziness with Scientology and all that… you have to respect people who are good at what they do and don’t make compromises for <current thing>.
Brilliant clip.
A famous conservative once said that polls are for shaping public opinion, not measuring it. I think he was absolutely correct. The pollsters can use all sorts of methods to get the result they want, and people have a bias towards joining the majority opinion, so all you need to do is show people a poll that says the majority agree with X and people are more inclined to agree with X.
Normally I assume ignorance over malice, but when their "ignorance" always leans one direction, it's hard to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Corrupt people will lie fluently when they know they won't be held to account. He doesn't care that he's being hypocritical because there are no consequences.
The point is that there’s no rational argument for it beyond appealing to peoples feelings and emotions.
Even if there were a rational argument for supporting gay marriage, the slippery slope is a real threat and would override all but the strongest arguments, a fact that should be obvious to everyone at this point.
Cris Ray Gun is a low information normie from California who leans left. He’s content to play video games, consume popular culture and make snarky jokes. Don’t expect insightful or well-informed political opinions from him.
