The Great Migration of conservatives to Red states, and libs to Blue states, is one of the best things to happen to the United States, even though it will likely eventually result in some sort of civil war and division of the country. As long as we crush the Chinese Communist Party first before we divide ourselves, it will be fine. The CCP is the last major threat to world peace, so once we defeat it, the US can turn inward and sort our own shit out.
The reason this is so great is:
The "red" country/states will actually be based and actually give the right wingers of the world a rich, right wing country where they are free to live without woke bullshit.
Even though the blue and red states might "divorce", this will be good in the long run, because red states will out-compete blue states in economic policy, grow over time to be clearly superior just as the West did with the USSR, and then ultimately the blue states will be forced to accept defeat and re-join a unified America on conservative economic policy terms.
I don't believe we will have any bloody "civil wars" like the US Civil War. The libs are cowards and simply not willing to fight to "preserve the Union", and the Right has too many strategic advantages in resources, geography, and firepower for the Left to ever be able to make a serious effort to impose its will by force. The US military will not comply with orders to kill red staters. The US military will always be a mostly-conservative institution even if dumbasses like "white rage" Milley are woke clowns.
The only down side to this is that the Democrats totally control the West Coast, which is strategically important, and there is a HUGE minority of right wingers like me who live here, and don't think the libs deserve to squat on some of the best real estate in the country. California is truly one of the best places in the world to live if you look solely at the geography and weather.

They seek complete dominance. A large island could rise up out in the Pacific, half the size of the US, and all politically right type of people move there, leaving the entire US to the leftists. Do you think they would be ok with that? How long do you think it would take for them to send a plane or a ship out and demand to be let in? And if they were let in, how long until they start working to destroy it? To them, all wrongthink must be destroyed; they will never let you rest.
It is a philosophy of perpetual war, or as they like to frame it, revolution. Eternal revolution. That's why they are constantly at war with each other. You could be the most correct rightthinker today and find yourself against the wall tomorrow.
Divorce is not an option. Why would I want to share a county with people who can do nothing but destroy?

Divorce is not an option. A country with a cesspool of parasites that feel entitled to rule the world sitting on the border is a country asking to be conquered. If you do not conquer and oppress progressives, they will conquer and oppress you.

The world is the last major threat to world peace. As much as I'd love world peace, it's nothing but a pipedream.
Based on what happened during the summer of love I would agree. We saw houses on fire in Seattle, and Spokane protests stopped out of fear of armed men. Idaho alone scared protesters by having a gun club meet up at the same spot. Yakima had signs up that said snipers were ready if any protests became riots. I expect the same results if it's tried again.
This leaves economic growth. Seattle and Portland are going through down times. They seem to be pushing for greater fallout.
Actually, it hit me the other day that whatever is happening doesn't seem natural. Seattle has skyscrapers with no one in them. It's been like this for ten years. Amazon has brought in San Francisco, but there isn't the demand for this many buildings. All of the buildings are funded by Chinese investors. It really does look like the corporate invasion of Chinese companies. Let the natives destroy themselves and then move into the unwanted territory is a common historical movement. I have no idea if it's true, but there is evidence towards it.
The best thing for the right leaning cities and states is to get trade and movement perfected. That way the west coast can't dominate the way it does.

You need to leave. While fleeing something you can defend is cowardice, there is no dishonor in fleeing a sinking ship. Besides, the cost of living will be lower wherever you go. The coasts are absolutely ridiculous.
