As interesting as that statistic is, the source is the SPLC so I find it dubious.
The source actually makes me more inclined to believe the conclusion -- because it's in their best interest to conceal this fact -- but the SPLC isn't a reliable source in general, so who knows how accurate the underlying data is.
The study also said that 34% of young Republican men support assassination. No doubt they wanted this to be higher, and oddly enough 40% for young Republican women.
Like someone posted the other day, all you have to do is ask leading questions to get the poll results you want. Then only publish the results of the final question.
