Watching the Hacker News tantrum unfold in real time as new information came in was entertaining.
First it was "American gestapo", then well she wasn't required to help ICE, then sending ICE out of her courtroom isn't illegal, then there's nothing wrong with her ordering ICE to not wait outside the courtroom, then sure her sending the criminal out the juror's door exclusively for the use of jurors looks bad but maybe there was a good reason for it. Oh she checked first to see if ICE was out front - that's not absolute proof she hid this criminal.
And not a single one will have any ounce of introspection that hey maybe reflexively making preemptive excuses based on no information "because Trump" isn't what so-called smart people should be doing.
Large majority of black people are normal, law-abiding, nice people.
The problem is the small fraction that are essentially wild animals is way higher than other peoples and higher than Western society can tolerate. So when you get a lot of blacks living together those areas won't stay civilized.
It's really unfair to most blacks to not acknowledge this reality because there are interventions and things that can be done about it, but ignoring the problem just means they all pay the price.
America says is there a good alternative to blowing up the entire building? No, well okay then, too bad. Israel says how can we terrorize the most people because if they're afraid of us they won't lob as many PVC-pipe rockets.
I don't see any evidence their PR is that good either. It's effective and they can infiltrate orgs because as a tribe they have absolutely no compunction against lying to your face, blackmailing, and stabbing you in the back.
But that's the same thing I was talking about - anything goes when it's outside the tribe. This has been their advantage and also problem for all history.

It's hard for other groups to pull off a lot of these 'clever' attacks, like the exploding pagers, because the more people that need to be involved the more say 'yeah I'm not blowing up that guy while he's reading to children'.

edit: in case you guys didn't get it, this is disingenuous emotional manipulation from Smith; he doesn't believe only women and children can be innocents and could have just said a building full of innocent people, but he put that in there to turn your brain off. This is not honest, truthful debate either because there is a discussion to be had over whether or how innocent the broader population is (for instance Murray says 1/3 buildings have arms stockpiles or tunnels), but Smith has shut that down with emotional appeals. I'm not endorsing Murray's position, it's just to show that point of disagreement exists.
I floated the idea right after the debate that it was some kind plan; Murray is clever and an effective communicator and I don't believe for a second he simply got steamrolled.
Watch the first two minutes. Murray immediately takes charge, accuses JRE of being one-sided, and defines the debate for at least the first two hours. He came there with a goal in mind.
But I doubt it has anything to do with an Iran war. I'm confident that a candidate from either party running on an anti-Israel or even anti-Jew platform would handily win 2028 in a 2016-esque upset. "You can't insult your way to the Presidency," says Jeb!, but people were so sick of this walking on eggshells they went with the totally unwinnable, totally crass candidate. The same type of unrest now, but over Israel and/or Jews.
This is what people like James Lindsey and Doug Murray have also noticed, and they so fear 'the rise of fascism' from their upbringing, that they're willing to throw themselves on the fire to prevent it. A fire among intellectuals that's been stoked by a Greater Israel that's panicking over the public sentiment they're seeing.
They have to control or contain these long-form debates and forums because if there is honest debate people are going to say fuck this 1% who are dual citizens that don't have allegiance or a care for the country - which especially the young online crowd are increasingly saying.

I think this was an orchestrated strategy all along to attack JRE and Murray was sent in there to make this balance/experts issue the focus. Apparently Murray was trying to go on solo and Joe insisted on a Dave Smith sparring partner; Murray v Joe would have gone the opposite way.
