I think MK2 gets a pass because magic and source material.
Sub-zero isn't a strong character because he's a man, but because he can freeze people solid. A baby that could freeze people would be formidable.

As for fighting, in the original MK Sonya Blade gets in a few hits that are possible, but basically it's just strongman Kano smacks her in the head once and she's down like John Stossel, kicks her in the ribs and it looks fucking brutal - she's done. He could win at that point but he's playing with her. Then she gets a lucky one-hit kill that's justified by her better skills. In original MK Kano would win 99/100 fights with Sonya and that's why it works.

If Discord doesn't do something similar they should be legally liable; if somebody was grooming and they let them open a new public forum or post in a non-adult one then Discord should be held at least contributorily responsible.

Turnout in 2024 was 59% in KY.

Part of the RAM problem is Windows not having overcommit and how that interacts with the GPU.
If the game is using 8 GB of textures then that's filling up the graphic card and also reserving 8 GB of system memory that's unused unless something else uses GPU memory.
So a game with 8 GB of textures and 8 for the game itself needs 16 GB RAM, or you can run it with 8 GB RAM and 8 GB swap - which works ok because it's not actually used, unless you run two games and then the system dies from swap.
In Linux there's overcommit so you'd only need the 8 GB and if you run two copies at once one just crashes out.
