That's because you grew up in a functional culture, not theirs.

They all know that they're all lying. You and 10 others apply for a job. Let's say you're a 5/10 and the other guys are a 4/10. You claim to be a 5/10, they claim to be a 6/10. The boss either compares 5 to 6 and picks one of your competitors or he assumes you're all scamming, because everyone is a scammer, and assumes your claimed 5/10 is really 3/10 and hires your competitors. Once that's the norm, being the one honest guy would mean having to outperform everyone else's most convincing lie. And why wouldn't you lie? Everyone's already assuming you are. It's not just trying to get perks. Honesty is actively punished.

That's why these societies hit a wall in their development. When the task is complex enough to require more than a handful of people, any competency that is there can't overcome the cheating and jockeying for position.

There might be an exceptional individual like Srinivasa Ramanujan, but they'll never achieve anything of scale when this is the culture: https://ghostarchive.org/archive/g5Uyw

LLMs citing one another IS a bad thing. They're going to hallucinate in a circle and then retards will take it as gospel.

Though Grok is probably more accurate than wikipedia weirdos at this point.

It occurred to me that the left version of ICE is a bunch of fascist out hunting down "black and brown people" and willing to murder without cause.

Yet somehow, the only two people killed out of all these operations are a white lady and a jewish guy, probably both citizens, who went out of their way to violently obstruct agents.

Isn't that weird? How do they explain that there's not a big pile of dead illegals? I know, I know. Expecting logic from retards, but never fails to impress with how nonsensical their view of reality is.

For an extra bit of history, the "____ in action" naming was borrowed from the convention established by r/TumblrInAction and r/SocialJusticeInAction for pointing at retards doing their thing and laughing.

unwanted everywhere I go and hated everywhere I stay.

Have you considered that it's this exact attitude that causes it? No one wants to be around someone who drags themselves and everyone around them down constantly. I'd already rather be anywhere but this thread.

I think there's a clue in that photo.

Canada's been a sovereign nation for 44 years. We don't know how independent Canada would hold up in a full war because they've only been involved in regional conflicts where NATO told them to go.

The one 213 years ago? Where the US had existed for less than 40 years? Where the "Canadian" forces were British, back when the British still had some spine?

Yeah, I don't think that's applicable today.

Let Alberta join the US. Then I suppose the US could also take Yukon and the Territories to link up with Alaska. Maybe Saskatchewan and Manitoba could join. I don't know what happens there. But BC, Ontario, and Quebec would be net-negatives.

That should be obvious to people. Anyone calling their teammates "dog-fucking mongoloids" is enough of a gamer to get at least one kill.

ernsithe 3 points ago +3 / -0

Sometimes, when one person feeds that hard, they end up working as sacrificial bait. A few smooth-brains on the other team want "KDA go up" so they spend their time farming the feeder. Then they lose because it's an objective based game and they let their team go 5v4 on the point.

Be glad it's bad. If they did GamePass, Cloud Only for $5/mo people might actually do it and normalize cloudshit.

3
ernsithe 3 points ago +3 / -0

If it gets enough traction, they'll just mandate it in their platform API. Devs will have to provide hooks for it. Then you can look forward to an ad on every loading screen and before every match.

ernsithe 2 points ago +2 / -0

It doesn't seem that complicated. I assume it means:

  1. You can play GamePass games via cloud.
  2. You can play games [that are not part of the free-when-subscribed rotation] that you have purchased. Also via cloud.

#2 meaning that you bought something digitally on their service already. You could now play it via cloud shit after sitting through ads instead of paying a sub.

Denmarks fastest growing demographic is foreigners.

That would be expected of any stable population.

Assume 5 million native people reproducing at replacement rate and one foreigner. A second foreigner is added. "Foreigners doubled and the native population didn't increase at all!" How much "line go up forever" do you expect in the population of a country smaller than 40 US states?

their "justice" is revenge

You're too generous. They're in a constant state of wanting to kill anyone who isn't them. "Revenge" and "justice" just give them an opportunity to make their actions more comprehensible to normal people and therefore slightly more accepted.

Certainly none where the nurse looks like that.

Enforcement and Removal Operations. Some of the agents in Minneapolis had those markings on their vests and it became a little bit of a meme on account of "ero" being JP/weeb short hand for erotic media.

Have you seen Britain? I think very little of them at the moment. What's you're argument here? "It doesn't matter?" Then it doesn't matter how it was made.

But you're totally right. He could have filmed all that on location, hiring actors, at quite a bit of expense, and release it just in time for it to possibly have been a dead meme. That sure would have been a better option.

I'm always surprised when someone on this site, of all places, understands the online media landscape so poorly.

'competency porn'

It's more than that. Shows used to write aspirational characters. They could still be relatable, but they were something you'd strive to be, not something you already were. And certainly not "he's literally me!" for some Reddit mod who stumbled into a studio writing gig.

But that seems to be a lost skill. The lack of characters like that in kids' shows is going to be especially disastrous in the long run.

Even if someone had the ability, they would not be able to produce an equivalent output as quickly. The meme's influence would be greatly diminished by the time the it was being viewed by others.

The objective isn't to make "art," it's to spread the ideas and striking while the iron is hot works. If this makes one Brit go, "that's a good point," I don't care if it was done with pencil, paint, or AI. If you're getting stuck on if a transitory political meme demonstrates artistry or is low-effort, you've really lost the plot.

I'm sure they are. The Catholic Church and LDS alone are going to be massive.
Then you have nature conservancies. Millions of acres of land. If you put a cash value on them, I'm sure it'd be a bit.

Also, there are a lot of hospitals that are organized as "non-profit." I imagine the value of the facilities and equipment is significant.

OH and let's not forget universities. Harvard is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3). They have a $56.9b endowment.
