More likely, he's worried about being kicked out of the country. He's probably there on some kind of visa, and the Netherlands have had sedition laws ever since WWII, aimed at keeping out potential fifth columnists. They had a big problem before the German invasion with Nazis entering the Netherlands to stir up sympathy for the Germans and foment against the Dutch government. If the current government decides to label Styx a foreign subverter, they could arrest and deport him.

I don't disagree, but Twitter's entire corporate structure is effectively complicit in defrauding advertisers. Profitability aside, just how useful can they be to the elite now that Musk has forced them to reveal that? They'll be in and out of court for years.

I work for a national retail chain in Canada. The store I run is in is a pretty small town in a less cosmopolitan part of the country, so you don't see too much of that nonsense locally, but all of the corporate higher-ups are based in Toronto, and I definitely see pronouns in e-mails that come down from them.
