half-trans

Is that really what he's identifying as? What, straight and trans are both too conventional for him so he has to be half-trans?

Short version, though, if you want to save brain cells:

  1. White people who named birds were racists, and thus the names need to change

  2. The whole idea of conservation is rooted in white cis men wanting to control the environment after they killed all the noble black and brown folk who lived there

  3. Making birding inclusive is a necessary step to prevent birds from going extinct

That's still at least $164 million too high. And even then, charging him 164 million per year would only supply enough money to give $1000/year to each of the small businesses owners his ridiculous plans drove out of business.

Why can this thing (since it's a they/them I can't call it a 'guy' or 'girl' without offending it) win an election but the glorious Count Binface can't?

But muh private platform!

Look, I'm all in favor of minimal government regulation, because it almost always goes badly. But we've had years of these companies who have a near monopoly on social media communication blatantly censoring things along political lines and actively suppressing any attempt at starting a competitor, often with outright slander. And now we have documents saying that federal officials were involved? Shutting them down isn't good enough. Jail them all.

How do these people function? Seriously, how?

7 tweets pointing out problems with Islamic culture in France. Pointing out how it has been growing for years and is breaking down aspects of society, and the "growing cultural conflict within France."

And then...

Concluding with 2 tweets saying "But multiculturalism is great! Don't blame multiculturalism!"

Western culture built the world you're living in today. People who don't care about that culture were brought in, and things are falling apart. Simple solution? STOP MIXING CULTURES. You want to bring more people in, make sure they're people who agree with your culture and values, and like your traditions. Otherwise, things will fall apart. It's only happened in every single civilization in history.

Honestly, she doesn't need to worry about hurting anyone. Using a sword (a katana of course it looks like) while in a wheelchair, your odds of actually hitting someone are slim to none.

I'm very skeptical of Starfield. I'm hoping it will be good, but given the direction Bethesda has been going in the last few releases I'm concerned that it's going to be mediocre at best.

Just when I thought Clownworld couldn't get any clownier.

How dare you rape me? No, I'm not going to call the cops, prison is wrong, but you must read these feminist essays instead about why you're bad! Wait, what are you doing? Why are you raping me again?

Actually, from the article sounds like there was sex.

Etute had allegedly gone to meet up with someone he thought was a woman for a second sexual encounter at Smith's apartment.

and anybody that looks at what's going on clearly sees that. You have to be asleep not to see that.

And anybody who looks at the data from the last 15 months has to be asleep to not see that the policies you've been recommending are at best worthless from a public health perspective and actively detrimental in a number of cases.

Don't forget that pigeons are provably better than certain games journalists at spatial reasoning, so it wouldn't surprise me if some chimps can handle escalators without too much issue.

And yet:

  1. You still had to pay $54 for something that took them maybe a minute (being generous) to process, that you wouldn't need unless they insisted you did

  2. If you dared to drive without the magic card, you're looking at fines and/or possible jail time (it looks like in WA it's $250-$1000 fine or up to 90 days in jail)

  3. If you dare suggest that people follow the process you did and use those easy to get and not necessarily accurate IDs to prove who they are to decide who makes the laws, you suddenly become a massive racist bigot

Exactly.

“My abuela is okay. But instead of only caring for mine & letting others suffer, I’m calling attention to the systemic injustices you seem totally fine w/ in having a US colony,” she wrote.

"Oh, you were going to help the family member I used as a prop for political gain? NOT GOOD ENOUGH! You must feed more money into The System to fix these abstract problems! No, you won't get to see concrete results from your actions!"

This. I have heard stories of modders pitching fits and pulling their content lest "bigots" download it, but never heard of modders banning specific people from downloading files. Maybe it is happening, but I don't see anything on the linked page about it.

Some more info/clarification on this would be nice.

And not just commercials. Look at pretty much any "mainstream" programming. Heck, the Simpsons has been doing it for 3 decades now.

One study examining the aftermath of the Rodney King riots found that extensive economic fallout haunted Los Angeles. The original $1 billion in property damage was eclipsed by a nearly $4 billion drop in economic activity over the long run, reducing tax revenue by $125 million. Other research into the 1960s civil rights era riots found similar consequences, in particular, “negative, persistent, and economically significant effects of riots on the value of black-owned housing” and “a 10 percent decline in the total value of black-owned property in cities.”

Great. So bump up Greenwood's worth by another factor of 10, and you're comparable to the King riots. And then we can start looking at what they did this summer.

the financial cost of the rioting is on its way to at least $2 billion, making it the most expensive in history.

I say we have the race-baiting journos pay back the reparations for all of it (going all the way back to Tulsa), since they keep insisting on encouraging the problems.

I don't understand why so many people want these devices even without this sidewalk thing. Sure, it is a little bit of convenience but is it really so much work to hit a couple buttons or switches to turn your lights on instead of letting <insert big tech company here> know when you're doing it? And what did people think the end result of letting <insert big tech company here> monitor and control half your house would be?

That one is my favorite. No, random journo dude, I don't care about you. And even if I did you certainly don't do important work. Even if you all did your job properly, it still wouldn't be important work. I really like vidya, but seriously, end of the day it's just an entertainment product and even if all of you disappeared there would still be user reviews, word of mouth, lets players and more to tell us whether or not games are good or bad. You are entirety replaceable.

But we're fighting a war on the virus! And a war on racism and white supremacy! And a war against climate change! And probably a bunch of other "wars" too! They're all existential crisis that can only be solved by putting you all in pods and making you eat bugs
