Yeah, all the characters and customization of H4 made me want to die (not counting the car customization, that was relatively decent).
If I’m spending 2 hours in the character customization because I want to create the perfect character, you’ve succeeded in your character creator.

Hmmm, I’m admittedly not the best Christian (see above comment) but I’ll try to answer. I don’t want to rely completely on my own human knowledge so I’ll mainly use Bible chunks.
I think the need to worship comes from God wanting us to have His love front and center in our lives. By having other things take precedence, it’s not really a developmental issue (I despise secular terms, so I’m going to drop this now) it’s more of an issue of idolatry.
Your life and morals are going to revolve around whatever you worship, it’s one of the reasons we have all these “No objective truth” (God) mindsets whose lives are chaotic. I wouldn’t even say God is my first object of worship (I’m working on it), otherwise I’d abandon these boards for good. God knows that we’re going to worship and mold otherselves along those lines:

God is jealous because he only wants the best for us and knows if we worship anything but Him, we’re going to start destroying ourselves by following base desires. By welcoming God and Jesus into your heart, you are transformed according to God’s will and order. Your life may be turned upside down from His will, but it will ultimately be more fulfilling and healthy in the long run.
As Paul says:
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
If Jesus looked into your body (the temple) would he find a house of prayer or a den of thieves (worldly topics/desires; video games, maybe?). Your conduct will be structured around that topic.
So the “hole” isn’t really a matter of trying to have a higher authority absolve you if your misdeeds, it’s about being filled by a guiding love to improve yourself and then spread the salvation God has granted you (and the trials as well, for they will come).

As someone who struggles with the fandom/other sinful things taking precedence over God, I will tell you this:
It doesn’t fill that empty hole in their lives left by rejecting God. The godless try to fill that empty spot in their lives, but end up more miserable, because their souls are still crying out for that fulfilling love only God provides.

Lots of subtle malicious statements made throughout how the writers treated throwaway characters. (Please stop making all your "priestly" characters into fanatics. I know it's a foreign concept atheists, but you're not supposed to loudly pray in front of others, it defeats the purpose of prayer.)
I looked up the creator's inclinations, and sure enough all the bothersome subtext was right. TDS, anti-Christian, you know the drill with these Netflix creators.

The fact that Arkane removed a elements from a prostitution section of the game from Dishonored 2 directly because of "She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named"'s whining automatically puts Dishonored 2 in the woke category. Emily's personality and look were also "inspired" by Sarkeesian's "feedback" according to the director.
Buying Dishonored 2 was indirectly helping the Feminist Frequency cause.
I'd give them more credit if they were upfront with their origins. I only mentioned the name to give a tangible example of the difference between deception compared to the woke's outright bragging, not to give people a game to buy.
I shouldn't wade through multiple "We are a company." statements from different shell company pages, only to learn nothing. If I have to find out through your main American contact's slip-up that you're actually Chinese, something's wrong.

It's so easy to check some devs, as they'll willingly virtue-signal on their social media page. My go-to example is a game where one user asked if the developer's big-breasted female human-robot character was a gynoid, and the social media account screeched at them to call her an "android to avoid sexism." Easy developer addition to my blacklist, even though the dev gave no apparent indication in trailers that they were woke.
That's just the "basic" level too, here's a more "advanced/schizoid" level:
There's a game I kept seeing get shilled called "She Will Punish Them", but it raised a couple of red flags for me (it's kind of a low-budget erotic hack-and-slash). The developers had multiple companies they made games under and it seemed like they were from Eastern USA. I connected the dots between key employees within the 3 "shell" companies and found out that while they've got a couple of American employees helping with promotion, they're based in China. That's another for the blacklist, but kudos to the Chinese's deception, they made it hard for me to figure out where their company was actually located.

I say make your own entertainment (book, music, movie, game, whatever!) within your own country. I don't think it can be any worse than the garbage we get served constantly by global-homo MSM. I'd also support indie creators that aren't woke, they really need the help.
Running away from a problem got us into this mess, and it won't get us out of it. We've got to help each other out, that's the one thing the woke are good at that we're not good at doing.
