an argument which presupposes voter fraud wasn't a deciding factor in 2020, is just as ridiculous as debates about COVID measures where both sides accept the premise that COVID is a killer pandemic.

even more evidence that "go woke, go broke" is an obvious fallacy.

anyone spreading this idea is sabotaging the RW by suggesting that the problem of woke corporations is inevitably going to fix itself.

lol at all the people not noticing how Dom's "censorship" intentionally informs you of what the original comment says.

first I've heard of that one. I'm guessing it's a politically correct term for the third world? because leftists need more supply for their Coalition of Fringes but are not allowed to talk about how these places are shitholes?

also, the title is misleading.

he didn't just film them, he bargained with them, ripped off the licence plate cover and filmed the licence plate, and then he posted the recording on tiktok to try and get them identified. that's not just filming - that's vigilantism.

that said, do I support what he did? absolutely

they do it because they can and it works

they've been allowed to act like this for so long that the idea of facing repercussions doesn't even cross their mind

despite this I recommend using a Firefox-based browser and not a Chromium-based one and I myself will continue to do so

here's a tl;dr

  1. can only disable non-"Mozilla approved" addons. uBlock Origin is approved.
  2. it works not by remote trigger, but via a site blacklist (but that blacklist can probably be updated remotely). upon visiting a website that is in the blacklist, all "unapproved" extensions will be disabled
  3. when extensions are disabled, you'll get a banner in the extensions overflow button in the toolbar, but you won't see the banner unless you click the button, and you won't have any banner if the extension is not in the overflow menu (for example, if it's pinned to the toolbar)
  4. the feature can be disabled in about:config (at least for now) by setting extensions.quarantinedDomains.enabled to false
  5. Mozilla's Bugzilla page for this feature was initially tagged for the group firefox-core-security but was quickly moved to mozilla-employee-confidential
  6. Chrome has been doing this for a long time

I'm gonna be that guy again. the 5th paragraph has a quote by an """""expert""""""" that directly links mosquitoes and "global warming".

this isn't about what any of this means for twitter/Musk.

if you're mentioning a temporary emergency measure (rate limits) in the same sentence as a possibly-permanent policy change (twitter no longer usable without login) then yes, context matters.

2
TisDaRhythmOfDaNight 2 points ago +3 / -1

you forgot to mention the context of why there's rate limiting and that it's a temporary emergency measure.

TisDaRhythmOfDaNight 3 points ago +3 / -0

Of course they did. All Obama/Biden appointees.

to be fair all of Trump's appointees have been complete cucks, just not for the past 30 days.

again, not contesting any of that, nor do I particularly care (trannies are mentally ill, no objections to that claim on my side). I made this thread because I personally was not aware that the suicide rates claimed were nonsense.

7
TisDaRhythmOfDaNight 7 points ago +7 / -0

that's still 92 suicide attempts and 12 "successful" suicides out of 3759 people.

even if that is considered high, and even if hypothetically the numbers were manipulated - it's still not even in the same universe as the 41% suicide rate meme.

as the twitter thread shows, that number was apparently produced via really bad methodology - yet trans right organizations have seemingly embraced it. probably because they need the oppression narrative.

I think when we stumble upon a widely accepted narrative that may be yet another leftist fabrication, it's worth highlighting it.

No - not confirmed.

(at least as of the time I opened this thread, and unless I missed something)

So I know everyone is sick of hearing about this story, but I think this video is quite illuminating.

Sometimes it's not just company executives consciously choosing to be subversive (at the cost of losing money), or being blackmailed to do this via various non-government initiatives like CEI scores. Sometimes it's a single executive who actually thinks doing this would be a success, because they're an idiot and/or a True Believer.

Most of the time we can only guess at what actually transpired, but this time we have it on video.

if he is of the opinion that minorities are an inherent problem, then what makes him acceptable as a non-white living in the USA and especially as one advocating for white's rights? or is it just lip-service?

I'm just playing devil's advocate here. I have no problem with Pedro doing what he does.

3
TisDaRhythmOfDaNight 3 points ago +3 / -0

people who follow him, how does Pedro reconcile his opinion that "every minority" is problematic ("...not every Jew is problematic, but the sad fact is that most are [...] it's like with any other minority") with defining himself as a minority ("Minorities like me see America for what it is...")?

I wanna believe, but this is the opinion of a "YouTube financial analyst". Can anyone confirm that this person is actually legit?
