I'm not sure if it was Detroit or Chicago that pioneered the notion of registering dead people to vote and then stuffing the ballot boxes that way, but I highly suspect that Chicago perfected the practice over the years.

What annoys me the most about that part of the state is the level of smugness that is exuded by the liberals that live there. They actually think that their crime-riddled cesspit is the best place in the state to exist.

As Red as any state is, if you're looking at living in any sort of urban area then it's going to be a Blue enclave. Check out the 2020 Election Results Map. Red everywhere in tons of states, with only blotches of blue that are over-populated cities full of SJWs, Leftists, and their useful idiots. Case in point, my home state of Illinois (which is corrupt AF and doesn't even bother to hide it) - Chicago and the collar counties once again carry the state over into Dem territory, despite almost the entire down-state area being Republican.

If you're looking for somewhere Red to live, one of the Midwest "flyover" states is going to be your safest bet. Just watch out for the cities and you'll be fine.

so I have no idea where the concept of black people cook spicy food comes from.

Honestly, probably Caribbean/Cubano cuisine, or possibly black people trying to lay claim to Creole cooking. Most "soul food" is just Southern-style cooking.

And here we see puritanical right-wing legislators demanding something be censored because, "GASP, That's a penis!". (and yes, I know that Legend of the Overfiend is a hell of a lot more graphic than that, I was being hyperbolic). Show all the violence you want, but heaven forbid there be a chapter in there that points out that sex anime (whether vanilla or violent) exists.

The two also argued that “this isn’t about ‘educational freedom’ or censorship,”

Nope, that's exactly what it's about. It'd be one thing if the course centered solely on rape-tacular manga and anime that were blatantly offensive to the average person, but this course covers the gamut and touches on the fact that there is a lot of porn anime out there. They're censoring the whole thing based on one chapter that a handful of people can't handle and don't want other people looking at because they think that everyone should be offended and the thing shouldn't exist.

and that they were not “suggesting that minors – or, for that matter, any students – enrolled at Kent State be coddled in safe spaces or shielded from the truths, triumphs and tragedies of history,”

Bullshit. That's exactly what they're suggesting. They don't want anyone being exposed to the way things are in the real world that don't fit their narrow view of what is right and what is wrong. They don't want the students to look at something and draw their own conclusions. They, like the Left, want to rewrite reality to fit their version of what it should be and control the students' thoughts and actions accordingly.

110% this. If your green beans aren't swimming in bacon grease with huge chunks of bacon, diced onion, and garlic in there, you're doing it wrong.

Honestly, I think she was just caught up in the weird shit that happened all at once. She married The Donald for his wealth, and figured she'd have to put up with the occasional round of sweaty pig-sex but it'd be worth it to have access to his money and power. When he told her he was running for president she probably said something like "that's nice, dear" and went back to dreaming about banging the pool boy. When he actually started picking up steam she pretty much went into OHSHI- mode, and four years later here we are with her still looking like a deer in the headlights whenever she's on camera. I highly doubt anyone would actively aspire to be her, but then again I also doubt that anyone would have aspirations to be Mike Obama, either.

While I'd love to see this suit come to completion and have the school get bitch-slapped like it deserves to be, I'd bet anything that this ends up getting settled out of court by the school backing down and giving the kid a passing grade & diploma, with the grounds that the mom and kid both shut up about it. The cult of CRT doesn't want the light of justice shined on their bullshit. Those roaches will run and hide the moment anyone tries to take them down in the legal sense because they know they don't currently have a leg to stand on.

I originally made an account over there when it looked like it might be one of the main post-Reddit lifeboats in existence. Damn shame the dude's angel funding made like a teenage horndog and pulled out. If I were him I'd be pulling a name-and-shame on the company/person, if only so nobody else got screwed by them in the future.

Surely he meant that every three black votes should count as five, right?

(Yeah, I'm going to hell for making that joke)

Rules for thee and none for me, as is the standard with most liberal garbage. Didn't they also pull some shit where they paid the studio audience as "employees" so they could get around the social distancing requirements? I'd love to know who the hell they're still filming this show for, because it hasn't been entertaining since the early '00s, and it was on a downhill slide even then.

Quoth Randi:

Making decent coffee is hard enough that we still don't have an IoT coffee pot that costs less than $1400. My old roommate was literally a barista, now she's a developer

First off, exactly why the fuck would you want an IoT coffee pot? Who the hell is enough of an Internet-enabled coffee snob that they need to be able to trigger some machine sequence of roasting, grinding, and brewing from their smartphone while still in bed?

Second off, good for her old roommate, but the title "developer" is pretty nebulous, and we all know that SJWs in tech like to extend the definitions of terms. Apparently writing a "game" in TWINE counts as being a "game developer" (as we've all seen certain people use as their springboard). Hell, last I knew all Randi's credits as a "developer" amounted to were a couple minor commits to an inconsequential part of something in Linux, and it's debatable as to whether the work she submitted was even her own.

I mean, let's face it - you can put your boots in the oven, but that doesn't make them biscuits, and in the same manner you can put a barista in the dev bullpen but that doesn't mean that their code is going to amount to a hill of beans. Some people are cut out for tech, and some people aren't. Trouble is, they keep trying to force diversity bullshit into it over actual knowledge and merit-based hiring practices - and that's how you end up with inferior products that sink companies.

That's basically where my handle comes from. Man is a technology-creating creature. The more the technology we create progresses, the fewer people there are that know how to fix it when it breaks. That's the paradox of it - the more we do with it, the more people rely on it, and the harder people are fucked when it shits out on them.

Hell, I'm a straight, white, middle-aged, middle-class dude. They'll probably put me so low on the totem pole that it'll be another decade before I can even apply to get it because I've already had my "privileged" time on this planet.

As much as I want to give the dev cheers for standing on principles, I really have to wonder if this isn't a combination virtue signal merged with an attempt to signal boost their Tony Hawk clone. It's trendy right now to bash on CDPR and their affiliate companies because of Cyberpunk. Would any of us have heard of this game if the dev hadn't kicked up a fuss, resulting it subsequently being talked about both here and over on halfKIA?

As much as I hate getting stuck with a needle, I can still tolerate injections. Blood draws aren't a problem so long as I don't see the needle going in. Hell, I used to donate blood four times a year until I got put on medicine for high blood pressure. This? Fainting several minutes after getting stuck? Yeah, that doesn't exactly engender confidence in the vaccine as a whole.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not some sort of anti-vax nutball that thinks they give kids autism, are injecting tracking chips, or some similar bullshit - but I'm steering clear of the WuFlu vaccinations until they've at least been out in the wild for several months and several hundred thousand injections. They can claim the vaccine is safe all they want, but in my mind it still looks like a rushed job that hasn't had enough study time put behind it.

How feminist is a site like Onlyfans really?

I'd say it falls under whatever value of "feminism" is the one that allows them to claim empowerment by repeatedly selling pictures of their bodies to horny simps, while playing mental gymnastics so they can act like it isn't objectification or degradation of the woman in question.

Sure, a couple of popular ones make bank but is it really such a cushy "job" for the vast majority?

You have to remember, you're dealing with the long tail once you get into "hundreds of thousands". All it takes is a couple hundred subscribers at $10/month to reach the point where the monthly payout is closing in on being equivalent to what one would make at a minimum wage job. Throw in bonus "personal" pictures/videos they can charge extra for, and any "gifts" they may get from an Amazon (or Adam & Eve) wishlist and they could rack up a decent amount of extra income for very little actual "work".

TechParadox 7 points ago +7 / -0

I would posit that a lot of OnlyFans subscriptions end up being similar to gym memberships, in that some simp signs up for it, swings by, gets his rocks off, and then promptly forgets to unsub when they discover the next new hotness. Flash forward two or three months and when they finally notice a $50-100 charge on their card, that's when they go back and remove the unused subscriptions. The thot (and the company) get an extra free month or two out of the simp, and the simp doesn't have a leg to stand on since it's their own fault for not stopping the subscription.

What I'm kicking myself over is the fact that I'm not the one that thought of taking the Patreon model and applying it to nudie pics. Anyone got the keys to the GamerGate Time Machine that I can borrow for about two minutes of current realtime? :D

Let's call a spade a spade - these people are separatists whose actions border on treason, and their "autonomous zone" should be forcibly disbanded. Their obvious disregard for the law and their intent to potentially do harm to anyone who does not share their ideals should have them branded as terrorists. As such, they should not be negotiated with. Their supply lines should be cut off, and in short order their "autonomy" will fold like a cheap suitcase.

Unfortunately, the liberal morons that run Portlandia don't have the balls to do what should be done. I feel sorry for anyone in the state of Oregon that has to put up with the free-flowing bullshit that runs out of Portland on a daily basis.

Not to put to fine a point on it, but if you want to make sure the info survives, find a fellow shitlord over at /r/datahoarder and organize a sitewide rip. Those people know more about archiving the entire internet than most of us ever thought of.

Reading those quotes from Terry Meza tells me one thing: Dude Lady obviously needs his her wealth redistributed in the manner to which she claims is feasible under his bill. As the old saying goes, a Liberal is just a Conservative that hasn't been mugged yet. I guarantee you she'd be singing a different tune if it were her things that were being stolen and she had to "exhaust the potential of safely retreating into [her] habitation".

EDIT: Misgendered the person, although after seeing the pictures...

I was going to sign up for Parler until I saw they wanted my phone number. Nope. Fuck that in its ear. It's bad enough that Google has that info and ties it to my account, or that various other corporate entities use it to send me 2FA prompts and text messages for security access. As much as I hate Facebook, I'm not jumping onto the ship of a company that is potentially even more draconian while claiming to be for free speech.

I knew as soon as I saw that the voting was over and GoT had won the peoples' choice award that the spin machine would kick into overdrive and they'd start screeching about the thing being rigged.

Sometimes I wonder if it's not going to come to that. There's already a darkweb out there that's protected by the general lack of knowledge of the public in regards to how to access it. I seriously have to think that if it got bad enough we'd all have to start hiding our true intentions underneath a layer of onion routers and heavily encrypted sites, only accessible by those with the know-how to get there.

Basically, we'd have to De-September the Internet.

If you make what you consider to be an outrageous demand in negotiation and your opponent accepts it outright, you already screwed the pooch, because that means you or your team failed to gather enough intel on the other guy/group to know what their limits were.
