I'm not weird. I would never eat that junk. I just like laughing at it. It's like those pictures of disgusting houses. You like those too right?

I've always considered black cooking to be not much different than traditional American Southern cooking. It's not all that spicy, so I have no idea where the concept of black people cook spicy food comes from. It's also the exact type of stuff my white grandmother cooked. It's also pretty damn good.
Maybe that food is a throwback though. I can't imagine the ghetto rapist gangster black culture cooking anything.
Honestly, probably Caribbean/Cubano cuisine, or possibly black people trying to lay claim to Creole cooking. Most "soul food" is just Southern-style cooking.
I think the idea that “black ppl cook spicy” comes from the fact that the only time half of them have been served a meal prepared by a white person is at the school cafeteria or in jail.
And a lot of non-kitchen-workers don't realize that cafeteria food has to be bland for a reason - you're not the only one eating it. However, you CAN ask the help for whatever spices you want, the chances are super-high that they do, in fact, have it available.
