being obsessed with these hobbies is not a downside so long as the man is productive and active

To me, this sounds very much like the arguments made for many LGBTQ issues. Sure, if people can do those things while also being good, upstanding citizens, then there's no problem. Yet a cursory glance at the real world tells you immediately that certain groups are very rarely good, upstanding members of society.

If you can do it, that's great for you. But way WAY too many people think they're the one responsible meth smoker.

Words aren't an entity of their own dude. You actually have to pay attention to the message if you want to understand how a person is using a word.

The way this person is using those words? Absolutely it's an earnest and honest assessment of the abysmal state which many modern men have learned to accept as normal for their lives.

Genetics is scientism's Achilles heel. You can absolutely determine some of a person's innate characteristics simply from their DNA. For example, if you don't have a specific rare genetic sequence which contributes to more efficient processing of oxygen, you will virtually always lose a running race against someone (of comparable fitness), who does have it.

Yea, "Obsessed" is the important qualifier in what she said and she's 100% correct. Way WAY too many people from Gen X on have just stopped growing once they got too deep into modern entertainment. Men were pushed violently out of their traditional social/work roles, and far too many have taken it as a chance to behave as though they have no responsibility or accountability. I've spent the last decade+ trying to actually keep growing past that childish phase, and like any significant shift in life it's sure not easy, especially with the intense vitriol from the public sphere, but if you can't be assed to even try to actually be a real man (and not what media tells you a man is supposed to be), don't expect women to want you.

Glad they were so specific that they can lick one another as long as it's for other reasons. /s

The teachers were worried about swinging too wide and banning things they personally enjoy by accident.

those stereotypes you see in K-dramas?

As someone who doesn't watch K-drama, what would be a good place to get a glimpse, without being overly painful to watch?

I've read some Korean comics, which all seem to glorify the idea of the rich and powerful shitting on others... just because they can I guess? I assume it's in a similar vein?

They understand perfectly when it's advantageous to recognize nuance and when it's advantageous to pretend to be an imbecile.

Seriously. It's disgusting watching Trudeau and friends waving the flag and singing the anthem without ever even publicly recognizing everything Mr "Post-National State" has done, directly, to harm the nation. He picked a fight with patriotic Canadians, and now he wants to pretend to be their champion as though none of it ever happened. He's grossly underestimating how much hanging resentment he still bares for the damage he's done.

Dude, every time you create a rigid system (such as computer software) it can be gamed by anyone who actually understands how it works. That pretty much the biggest problem with trying to replace human decision making with computers.

I noticed while looking for this comic that their archive actually did implement something like that. It lists the comics by "arc" with a small thumbnail and even tags all the "safe" ones so you can avoid the cum sprites.

Like a lot of degenerates, being weird is basically their entire personality.

Okay, your comment has finally convinced me to give the show a try.

Who downvoted this guy, for pointing out the "source" is literally just a picture?

The downside of being good at shapeshifting is it's hard not to accidentally commit hate crimes against your own.

My method for avoiding such things is to never attack strangers with an axe.

Obligatory

Warning: The other comics on that site are very nsfw (not this one specifically though)

Anyone got the current numbers on how many "lines" we've crossed over the past 10 years?

Some of these people are DESPERATE to paint an Us vs Them narrative to justify their own actions. Maybe, the world isn't conspiring against you. MAYBE, people just don't like shit games.

Thanks to the crusade against anything remotely attractive in games, the only ones that don't get hit with the DEI ugly stick are the ones deliberately creating fanservice as the central theme.

I agree, I hate it too.

Sometimes I like to read random boring documents to learn more how the world works. One that really stands out to me was a diplomatic cable regarding foreign aid. The program in question was related to some sort of women's health program in Africa, and discussed how it would establish a funding stream into the region.

That's the point. They've already failed, but they don't want to be held responsible for that failure, so they're attempting to write a story where others are responsible for it.

A small price to pay for being able to rail your boyfriend in the women's washroom without anyone being allowed to call you gross to your face.
