And Alfa's Emperor TTS.

I'm not even really into Warhammer and I love that series.

(And Tintin was awesome.)

I'm sorry, did the man just claim a portion of the country hadn't figured out his skin color by November 2012, but when they did somewhere in the next four years they freaked out so badly that they voted for one old white person instead of the other?

I ask you Mr. Obama, using the elegant rhetoric of your vice president: Are you a junkie?

"speak back to power"? Says the ones in power? They are completely and BEYOND unbelievable.

If not for the Communist autocracies that keep on calling themselves The Revolution decades later, I'd say it's unbelievable as well.

Given that the two people I've seen on Unus Annus are both pro BLM and/or pro SJ wankers, I'd rather prefer a year of them being wankers on camera just go away, thanks.

Archive stances that might later get memory holed, let the fans archive the rest.

We have removed this book from our assortment.

Where they start burning books, they end burning people.

Oh, sorry, "removing people from our assortment".

An often-overlooked detective series is Nero Wolfe, by Rex Stout.

Yes!

First book is Fer-de-Lance, but it doesn't much matter where you start. Also made into a great TV series, but you'll probably have to find that on YouTube.

Or the Pirate Bay. They released it on DVD, looks like the rip still has 5 seeds. (Normally I'd say support the publisher in a case like this but the A&E that made a period detective series ain't the A&E of today.)

Definitely, nobody likes Celluloid Bert enough to post that much in defense of him.

His brother, who's trying to follow in big bro Bob's internet pop culture commenter footsteps.

No, I'm not even kidding: https://chipmanbros.libsyn.com/

It's nice to be ruled by the best.

You missed the A and forgot to capitalize the B.

Didn't we laugh at these dumbfucks for licking Switch hardware? They trying for a repeat?

Right on the heels of them breaking it so youtube-dl's channel scraping feature doesn't work. Gee, wonder what they wrenched this time.

Why not both? The second definitely, but my father was ranting just this morning about how Trump is refusing to leave the White House. I was like "Why would he, he's president for a couple more months!" and then he started ranting about something CNN said about Trump putting out a budget for 2021 and how this was as "proof" he didn't intend to leave and needs to be removed, with force, ASAP.

(Gods, fucking smugass Canadians who think they're so much better than Americans while voting that flaccid fuckstick Trudeau in....)

Better this year now that they increased our daily fresh air ration from 15 minutes to 10.

At the risk of repeating myself... vets being often older and/or right-leaning, I imagine attackingmocking vets is the highlight of their month.

No, you see, the trick is you leave it in No Man's Land with a copy of the sheet music for "Believe Me, if All Those Endearing Young Charms". The Kaiser's men never learned the countertactic of playing a few notes flat.

Last time it was the electoral college, they bitched about it until the minute they figured out how to rig it. Shows you what happens to something that gets in their way. They want it destroyed until and unless they subvert it.

I guess we know what their next target will be.

"Bonus: It seems to have pissed off a lot of the right people"

He curls up in a filthy piss-ridden little hole and masturbates like a chimp in a zoo-cage, then is proud that the few passers-by who happen to see him are disgusted by him.

Lidocaine and prilocaine have the "-caine" suffix to denote their chemical similarities to cocaine, this despite the word "cocaine" being "coca"+"ine", so the "-caine" suffix is a gibberish half-word plus a normal suffix. It's kind of dumb and nonsensical, but it works.

Language is a weird thing. Neologisms are like memes, you never know which one is going to catch on until you're neck-deep in it, and you can't stem the tide. Good heavens, it's all I can do to push back against the greengrocer's apostrophe.

It's ridiculous how quickly it's become "normal."

It's ridiculous how quick the dictionary changes too, and probably about as organic.

And actually, Thalidomide was very thoroughly tested on a variety of species.

And Dr. Kelsey apparently saw something in those test results that the governments of a bunch of other countries didn't (though not specifically about birth defects as I recall) and refused approval, leading to pressure on the FDA to approve the drug in the US as it was internationally, rather than waiting for further testing. I mean if I'm wrong about that do feel free to point out something other than the official line.

And yeah, it's apparently a good drug for other things.

Only if the unwashed masses in general start seeing "deep state" as being something negative:

If the people see a word as something bad, associate it with my enemy.

If the people see a word as part of my enemy, associate it with something bad.
