Niskanen Center
Ah, makes perfect sense.
(While I'm not entirely hip on Washington insiders I gather it's a "nonpartisan" think tank that just happens to support things like carbon tax, social justice, and the Trump impeachment.)
1984, for me, holds the odd position of being a terrible read that I'd recommend to anyone.
I am suddenly reminded of a day many years ago. A little kid (old enough to build a sentence but not much more) had done something like stumbling and falling (I wasn't paying attention, not my kid) and then started crying.
Then, when he didn't get the audience expected, he hollered "LOOK AT ME I'M CRYING!"
And by political affiliation of the people gathered.
centrist
Since I've heard that word used to describe AOC, I just assume someone who identifies/is identified as being centrist is far left until proven otherwise.
We're mostly gamers and gamers don't know how to talk to girls, silly.
Any Canadians here?
Yes.
Are you sick of how much Canada pays attention to US politics?
Not really because I pay attention to US politics.
if you mean the media... haven't watched Canadian news media in years. Hell, I find out more about Canada from Americans than Canadian media. (No lie, an American friend just sent me some links that go back to Rebel News.)
The language that took a German(ish) base, bolted a French(ish) vocabulary on top, then added a dose of Latin(ish) via the Church, then went to sea and grabbed whatever terminology it needed from every nation it collided with (friendly or not)... is racist.
OK.
Leading everyone to ask why you're spamming message boards for cents per message instead of doing the magic you're selling yourself.
That reminds me, I need to watch the Adventures in Awful reading of part of this.
Odd... PrivateInternetAccess, CyberGhost, and Zenmate have very different entries despite IIRC all of them being owned by Kape Technologies. Is Kape really that hands off?
My brain misfires every time I read or hear a leftist call the right "intolerant".
Followed by saying "What's great is that COVID is spiking in all the red states, right now. So, that's great. Because either those people won't come out to vote for Trump, you know the red states, or a lot of them are sick or dying."
The last time I saw this strategy employed was by a group who called themselves "The Evil Horde".
They think we are just beyond dumb and that they are all enlightened saviours.
Everyone's the hero of their own story.
You sure it's not classic nepotism? They look related.
I think they need to stop reading Luke 6:29 ("If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also.") and start reading Matthew 10:34 ("Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.")
Especially the "Aquarius. Scottish/Black. Dog Mama" cut off at the top.
White people CAN'T experience racism.
Just did.
Oh, ten to one if you asked them right now what role they would have had in WW2 Germany that most of them would say "Oskar Shindler".
The fastest way to sink into an evil is to convince yourself you are absolutely and incorruptibly above it.
Just a bunch of NPCs saying the same thing yet not saying anything at all.
Four legs good, two legs better!
It's sort of sad when modern society can be described as "Like Deus Ex or Metal Wolf Chaos, but without all the awesome parts."
If Trump was the God-Emperor, does that make Biden Horus Lupercal?
(And it looks like he's going to be sorting out the loyalists....)
If they start waiving the rules that much some people might respond by looking at the rules about not hanging people from lampposts.
And the type of twitter galaxybrains who use the BLM hashtag are rejoicing at the police violence.
Yeah, on the Spiffing Brit's video about the Democracy 4 video game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYvxBx4D9Jo
