There are cults in every country. Look at scientology or mormons. This is something they additionally inherited from the US unfortunately, but due to their general religious fervor.
One game studio caved, but on the whole they are pretty good about maintaining their own culture and keeping things unwoke.
Eh, Korea is much more conservative Christian than any other country. In KPOP, fans and culture enforce them not being whores, to the point they can't even date.
Far worse things to become popular imo. Korea got mentally trapped in 50s Americana in the best ways. Recommend highly.
Absolutely, but that's also true of many SE and even E Asia countries. Singapore unfortunately is surrounded by muslim hordes and is essentially a city state being degraded by Chinese. It doesn't have the history or cultural/religious background and sadly, I don't see it lasting. It will never have a military of any size.
Thailand went from stick huts to skyscrapers under King Rama 9th. They successfully resisted European colonization for centuries (with the help of Czar Nicholas no less) and have a strong religious and cultural base that is built on solid ground. Foreigners sre welcome but not easily accepted in the culture. A great balance.
Singapore is a poor example as its largely controlled by China at this point. Their sovereignty is eroding and in a few decades the Han Chinese will dominate society there.
Its so over.
Thailand is a better example. Un-colonized. Un-bowed. Un-broken. Maintains strict cultural identity despite enormous external pressures from all directions.
Winged Hussars when?
"Das is so German". I feel you there. Theyre the absolute worst and people who haven't lived there dont get it.
I generally hate tariffs, but I hate the European bureaucrats even more and I hope the US tariffs them into oblivion/sanity, or at least for the lulz.
Even without it, its terrible. I had german customs intercept my wifes used running shoes that were mailed to her during covid (as she was stranded there without enough luggage for an extended stay).
They demanded a payment until she held them up to their faces for a smell.
"Non Tariff Trade Barriers" indeed are critical. Europe makes it really impossible to get things from outside, especially Germany, by doing just this shit.
Economic sections of embassies should track and publish this publicly imo.
He's not wrong that it doesn't work. The biggest compromise in embassy Moscow happened when it was "forbidden". Eventually they figured out having 18 year old Marines report relationships rather than trying to stop them from having any relationships was the better path.
Same thing will happen here. You aren't going to stop Marines from trying to fuck and fight everything. Best you can do is report it.
Obligatory "history of French warfare" from the old days of the internet:
Poland has a larger and probably more formidable military. Having been attacked by both their east and west for centuries they understand how to prepare. All men must take training now.
It would not surprise me if Poland has to liberate Europe from Muslim incursion again.
The "pretty" really is a plus. I did find the focus on appearance there better than what the west has become.
I get you on the videos, but offer this consideration....
If the propaganda piece is in English and not Korean, the target is not Korea.
