I wrote this off immediately. There are very few cases where someone has played necromancer with a franchise, and it has turned out to be good. It was clear this wouldn't be one of those times. The first three seasons were good, though.
Damn, that's a good one.
I don't disagree, but Discord isn't anywhere near as big. Twitter had considerable bloat to contend with. I'm not sure how much Discord is left with after their recent culling of around 170 employees.
As I said in a previous comment, it's too soon to tell who was let go. They have to make the choice between profitability and diversity. We'll find out in the coming months based on the kind of things that are posted on their social media accounts.
Why did they have such an over-abundance of workforce that they can just casually sack more than a sixth of them?
I'd like to believe that it was because fluff positions are being cut, with unskilled troons and diversity hires being let go. The social programs and "transitioning benefits" Discord offers are netting any sort of positive return for them. We'll see in the next few months if companies have learned anything, or if they're trimming down to slow the hemorrhaging while still pushing the nonsense that put them in this position in the first place.
I think this would still be happening if the economy was healthy. Companies saw what happened when Elon took over Twitter, how he was able to remove a significant chunk of useless employees without consequence, and realized they could do the same. They can operate much more efficiently when they're not spending several million dollars filling fluff positions.
They say it all comes out in the wash. Seems like the wash is here, because there are a lot of people who are finally recognizing the patterns.
They finally caught on to Early Life references. Now you're going to have to check the edit history on every notable figure, at least until they figure out how to erase the edit history on anyone who is Jewish.
I have no love for people in the entertainment industry, so this would be all too easy for me to write this off as them getting what they deserve, but the whole thing seems almost dystopian to me. The human element is being stripped out of everything. Companies are implementing bots to fill slots in multiplayer games, utilizing AI to police speech, and now we're arriving at the point where the whole creative process will be automated. This isn't exactly a win for the Right. Sure, leftist voice "actors" are taking a loss, but this has a negligible impact on those pulling the strings.
Call of Duty has implemented AI to fill lobbies on account of their dwindling playerbase, and to police the speech of what's left of said playerbase. I'd say Activision has also utilized it to aid in design and development. They've resorted to this because just about every competent employee capable of actually creating something has departed from Activision-Blizzard, leaving only unskilled labor on the payroll. Among this unskilled labor are troons, diversity hires, and liberal white women who work to undermine heterosexual white males. AI has enabled and emboldened these people. I do not expect it will be any better in the hands of Square Enix. It doesn't lead to increase in quality. All AI will accomplish is serve as yet another safeguard for unskilled, subversive individuals.
I can't really speak at any length about most of the games that were nominated, as I haven't played the majority of them myself, but I know enough about the finalists to know this list is a sham.
We all know why Baldur's Gate 3 won Game of the Year. It's certainly not for its quality writing, tight mechanics, or overall polish. BG3 won because it pushes The Message™️. The game panders to degenerate fetishism from "big muscle mommy" and "satan is bae" types. I personally voted for Lethal Company. My friends have referred to it as "streamer bait", but it does look fun.
Red Dead Redemption II shouldn't have even been nominated for Labor of Love, let alone won the award. This category is for games with ongoing support from the developer. RDR2 has been abandoned for quite some time now. I haven't played in well over a year, and I still have yet to receive any notification that it needs an update. I voted for Deep Rock Galactic. That's a game that gets ongoing support.
Sons of the Forest was the only game I played out of the Better With Friends category. I wasn't particularly impressed with it. Party Animals got my vote, though I'm sure the rest are decent enough games.
Atomic Heart was my pick for Outstanding Visual Style, but I was mildly surprised to see it had won. I figured the fanatical anti-Russia sentiment would have seen it fall by the wayside. I'm glad it's getting some love. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'd go so far as to say Atomic Heart should have at least been a contender for Best Soundtrack.
Starfield even being nominated for Most Innovative Gameplay is laughable. It follows the same formula Bethesda has been using for years, except somehow less cohesive. I actually do not know anyone who defended this game in good faith. Most people fell on the sword for Bethesda over the pronoun issue, completely unable to argue against the game being generally buggy and unfun. All my friends who have played Starfield have told me it's boring. Even the most dedicated amongst the Bethesda modding community have struggled with this one. My vote was on Shadows of Doubt. It looked unique.
I've never played the original Last of Us, so I don't know whether or not it was worth of winning Best Soundtrack. By all accounts, it seemed like a decent enough game. Most people just seem to dislike the sequel. That being said, I voted for Hi-Fi Rush here.
I can't remark on VR Game of the Year (I don't own any VR headsets), Best Game on Steam Deck (I don't own a Steam Deck), Best Game You Suck At (I'm good at every game ever), Outstanding Story-Rich Game (I've already said my piece on BG3), or Sit Back and Relax awards (I'm physically incapable of relaxing).
I saw Fallout 76 added the Hanukkah candle, whatever it's called. It serves as jetpack skin. It surprised me out of a company like Bethesda. I thought leftists were Palestine supporters, even though their warped, subversive ideology is a result of Jewish propaganda.
The weirdest thing about all this is how subversive Jewish propaganda lead to the rise of these problems in the first place. They run the news conglomerates, whisper in the ears of politicians, and throw money around in different sectors to influence social and political changes. A product of their own making has turned against them. Something tells me it doesn't really matter that degenerates and trannies hate Israel, because it's not going to translate into any meaningful action against the country itself. Jews can continue destabilizing Western nations with protests and degeneracy while playing the victim.
I guess it goes to show just how underwhelming this series is when I haven't even heard it waa already underway, and I'm a fan of the John Wick movies. Perhaps it's just as well. Popular franchises being adapted into a TV/streaming series doesn't usually end well, especially in recent years.
Mostly what on Israel?
All this is even worse when you realize that the game has been out for... what? Over a year?
It's not his job, or any of our jobs, to track down the source of something you post. That is your job. Don't get pissy because you were made to look the fool.
"No, but for real this time!"
If I'm not mistaken, StarCraft's custom games lead to the creation of DotA.
I didn't pay any mind to the propaganda aspect of it back then, since I wasn't as hypersensitive to it as I am now, but I did see that MW '22 had all sorts of regressive flags before they added any national ones.
It really is a shame. I spent a lot of time on the Diablo and StarCraft franchises in their early years, and sometimes I still go back and play them. World of Warcraft was pretty fun as well. Former industry titans have become consumed by greed, and have shed their passionate talent in exchange for psychologically manipulative algorithms and cosmetic designs.
Nothing so noble, I'm afraid. They're selling in-game pets on World of Warcraft to raise money for "critical humanitarian relief in war-torn Ukraine." It's a new scam in the vain of the slew of African charities that managed to accomplish nothing in the multiple decades they were active.
I'm about a week late, and I'm sure this doesn't come as a shock to any of you, but I thought it would be good to point out Activision-Blizzard's desperate attempt to garner attention via signaling their virtue since their products can't maintain attention organically.
Where? When? I've been extremely derogatory toward these disgusting ghouls, and I have yet to have any action taken against me beyond getting blocked.
