If I had money to blow like that...
Pretty sure I'd get piloting lessons instead.
Y'know, I think we're not rubbing DoM's nose in it enough how little he's online compared to everyone else.
Let's just start replying to pajeet posts by counting. Like, just everyone start replying to pajeet posts with time it's been up when they saw the post.
You let another DAY of pajeet go under your nose. I dunno what your day job is DoM, but clearly it interferes with your ability to tend the site.
Now, on principle, I'm not gonna ask for power to fix shit, because I believe anyone who asks to be a mod is a cretin.
But I work from home DoM. I'm available and online SIXTEEN FUCKING HOURS A DAY punctuated by short gaps. Compare your situation to mine and ask yourself are you capable of committing that level of autism to running a forum?
And if you're not... then why are you still pretending you can hack it at the job?
And... that's not enough to get him to go away.
DoM I've fought edit-revert wars on 1d4 during the bad-old-days when Root was absent. THE ONLY WAY you beat a troll is with continuous coverage for a couple months until they realize they're not one person against one person, they're one person against twelve people and their message will last minutes, not hours.
It only ceases being fun when they're spending more time creating new accounts than posting.
That's part of it.
But part of THAT is your reluctance to come down on people for playing games. You let pajeet go for way too long because he was technically not crossing the line.
In your shoes I would have had a conversation with him weeks ago, told him his message was not welcome, and then Judge Dredded him when he inevitably tested the line again.
No. If DoM can't be on enough to quash pajeet in an hour or less at any time in US daylight hours, and if he won't delegate power to someone else to do it for him...
As long as pajeet has posts up, I'm going to go elsewhere.
