Again, he does all of his modding whenever he's around; he'll take out the users he doesn't like, as well as the actual bad faith trolls at the same time.
That's one thing I will continue to defend Dom on; the people who say he mods regulars more or faster than he does the trolls...that's just false. After significant delay, he'll get on and do both at the same time.
You seem to have a misunderstanding about how the communities work, even though you mention domain squatting which is a somewhat good analogy. Whoever creates the community owns it. The site admins will (pretty much) not ever under any circumstance transfer it to another user unless the person is flagrantly violating scored policy, which could include doing zero moderation. Dom waiting hours to mod content whether borderline or against policy gives him plausible deniability that he's trying and not intentionally sabotaging the place.
FishyMan was only put in charge of gaming for a minute because the other mod had a temper tantrum like a whiny baby. He wasn't the owner of the community.
tl;dr you cannot beg admins to transfer ownership to someone else and there's no such thing as "deposing him".

Looks like sitewide 'global ban' got him again, at least. It's not consistent, but it's something. Or something. Weirdly, this one looks different. He got a ban, but it wasn't sitewide, and it wasn't Dom or in KiA2's logs. Not sure if it was that same global filter, admin action, or what, but he got nuked from somewhere again, so that's something. A step in the right direction.
EDIT: Ah, it was the global suspension again. Not sure if it was a sitewide filter or an admin but, as I said, that's progress. It's almost like having multiple people working on banning trolls makes things more efficient...

We have those. We've had those for years since the board started.
I offered to help deal with spam accounts ages ago, and specifically spam accounts rather than everything else that goes on, but apart from Dom saying "I might have to consider doing that. I really need to do more community outreach and less moderating." almost 3 years ago nothing has happened to the point I don't give a shit any more.
He's had literal years to work on this in some way, even just bringing on a handful of others to zap blatant spam accounts, and instead we now have the current situation of the same obvious spammer using multiple accounts on a daily basis to post spam, gore, and other material which are likely going to result in actionable legal responses which ironically Dom will be responsible for having not taken sufficient steps when able considering just how many offers he's had for assistance.

Now Dom is accusing me of conspiring against him. I'm not even sure what the alleged plot would be, or how it would work, but there we are. He's going more insane, and it pisses me off, because it's so unnecessary. I've always said I don't even want mod, but I'd do it if it meant keeping this community running. Nothing but radio silence for ages, then accusations of running some shadow coup. It would be funny if it weren't so stupid.

Apparently if there's something really bad we can make a thread in c/meta and they will take care of it. Shouldn't even need to get to that point if Dom was smart, but that is the emergency option that we should all know about.
People are making threads there...which is its own issue, sadly. Those are not good actors, or long time users here. If they got their way it would probably be worse than having Dom as the only mod here.

Edit: I can't even interact over there, or any of the other win boards or larger community site since I run entirely on my browser remembering my login details here, which is itself weird since I thought I regularly cleared those but whatever. If and when, and it's certainly more like to be when than if, those get wiped I'll need to make another account and the pun doesn't work when using a 4th sock.

You let another DAY of pajeet go under your nose. I dunno what your day job is DoM, but clearly it interferes with your ability to tend the site.
Now, on principle, I'm not gonna ask for power to fix shit, because I believe anyone who asks to be a mod is a cretin.
But I work from home DoM. I'm available and online SIXTEEN FUCKING HOURS A DAY punctuated by short gaps. Compare your situation to mine and ask yourself are you capable of committing that level of autism to running a forum?

I'd go for a temporary mod just to see how it goes. Would be interesting to rotate temporary mods. In a way, "here it's your turn to clean up the shit this month."
Where I get concerned is just handing the reins to autists just like Reddit but with different values. Most of the old school of Reddit mods didn't start out with ill intent, they just can't help themselves after a certain point. Then before you know it, all kinds of deletes just because they think they are helping. In which case, I'd really prefer deal with a mod that doesn't come around all that much and a block button.
I've not been that bothered though, I just ignore and move on for the most part. The only thing I might do is restrict handshakes from top-level posts.
It's one of the reasons why I attack pedo pajeet posts whenever I have the chance.
