being fat is not a "health problem" it's a fucking "self control problem."
I agree with the principle you have stated, but if only it were simple as "self control." Don't get it twisted, you are right, but there is a severe problem with how we are processing food for the average joe. We are poisoned at every fucking angle you have to maintain a constant vigil on what you choose to consume.
Bread in America is so fucked you can't help but feel like you are committing a crime at every sandwich when you really know what's going down. The moral really amounts to not so much as "self control" imo and more down to going back to basics and learning to cook meals from base ingredients more. The convenience of complacency is the villain hiding behind the curtain.
A 2 minute ad per session sounds like a really good deal. The problem is that can be taken further and in much more abusive ways. This just sounds like a means of getting people acclimated for when the whole fist goes up the ass.
This is what happens when you bring a new game for the party to play, because only you know the rules, so you roll them, but then people start to understand the rules and just CRUSH you, because you suck at your own game.
There was that knitting lady. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnsugv_VViI who literally interrupted the runner to trauma dump. Fuck my life.. 12 years ago.... Her grandmother passed of cancer a few years ago and had to immediately make that about herself and her concern about inheriting that cancer gene... something that pretty much gets all of us in so many flavors.
"Based" is literally just synonymous to "agreeable." It's not that complicated. When you are told you are "based" you are being told that you are towing the line of their world view. People like to act like it's come complex thing that only Chads can be, but it really isn't. Not at its core.
Taxing inheritance is just about the biggest load of horse shit in existence. There is zero justification. It's the handing off of the family torch. The government has NO fucking right to any portion of it. The money was already fucking taxed when it was earned the first time. There's no reason to double dip.
Hell, so is sales tax. You're already taxed when you get the money, why the fuck does it get taxed AGAIN when you buy shit? The government would be much more careful about wasting funds if they didn't get away with just this constant absurd flow from bleeding people dry.
In a world where it sometimes feels like everyone has completely lost the plot, it does me a little good to read the comments that at least offer me a sliver of hope for humanity.
