You can't really wake someone up by calling them out. That will just put them on the defensive. You can however nudge them into it by pointing out to them the actions of someone else. Seeing themself from an outside perspective might give them that spark of self reflection. If not... well, not everyone is built for inward thinking.
You must be young if you just started to notice this. Well, welcome to the club. It's all downhill from here. The best you can do now if apply your awakening to your own principles and catch yourself if you ever feel you're falling for the same trap, because no one is immune to complacency. Also, stay the fuck away from social media. That's specifically what draws people in. The endless feed and shorts... It's like a bottomless bag of potato chips that saps you of original thought. Just video after video of some asshole's take on a political event, rather than actually looking into what actually happened yourself.
Trey and Matt are getting old. While they still keep a finger on the pulse of current events, they aren't going to be as in the know as they used to be. The weight of the world eventually makes a person less attentive to more minute details. As time goes on their views will get more and more surface level. I can't really blame them.. the crushing wheel of life is in constant motion.
It's kind of mind-blowing how analogous that is to modern day concerns about how cold and calculating AI can potentially become. A concept conceived in a time where the very idea of what a computer even is being completely alien. Extremely ahead of its time.
also ew. Wikipedia... I suppose in small bites it has its uses....
Dress to impress and first impressions are some of the most important things you need in order to establish trust with strangers. This person immediately displays energy of losing touch with the world around them and is in a constant state of crying for help. Hell no I won't trust their carpentry know-how. Especially in a world where so many are just faking it for views. Though I will admit.... this is certainly a new angle.
PC gaming is already reaching Warhammer levels of stupid where the foundation is no longer understood by newer generations of programmers. Hacked together code like a Frankenstein's monster it's a wonder anything works at all. Soon we'll reach a point we won't build anything new and rely on what we still have for as long as it can possibly last. Wait, did I say soon? It's already happening.
Hard to take seriously, because it reads like a try hard teenage troll that still can't grasp the concept and power of sublety, but I know better than to allow my naivety to get the better of me....
Also, there's definitely something wrong with you if you're writing on that side of the notebook paper.... fucking weirdo.
