I left Digg for Reddit 10 years ago after the Digg 4.0 thing. But I havent used Reddit in years. I quit because i noticed a few site wide themes that seemed to be guaranteed:

• all the main and popular subs devolved into leftist narratives, SJW posts, and general pro-left wing and socialist politics, lots of anti Trump/Republicans/conservative posts and comments. Even non political subs. Anyone who disagreed with what the left was pushing was downvoted, dogpiled or banned. Even things like pro-life, pro-american.

• the non political subs, including r/pics, r/memes, r/funny would also follow leftist narratives for content and comments.

• any sub showing violence like r/justiceserved rejected any posts that showed black people as perpetrators

• small niche subs: either stayed small and died with 1-2 posts a week at most, grew big enough for the rest of the reddit leftist hive mind to start their takeover, or shut down because the reddit hivemind couldnt control them.

The last good sub i remember was PCM [Political Compass Memes] which was a light hearted meme sub where everyone made fun of everyone including self depreciation. It too started down that road of being taken over by leftists once it became popular.

reddit is in no way an organically user driven content site. It doesnt have near the users they claim. And there is no coincidence that the site is organically lock-step in line with everything the media/left wants. Its full of bots, shills, JIDF, Chicoms, and grifters. A Chinese company, Tencent, injected $150M into Reddit in 2019, which came with a whole lot of stipulations. Reddit will never be independent after that.

The dating site Ok Cupid used to have a blog where they compiled data and talked about it and insights. It was a good read.

One article showed the data that the least attractive female demographic to all men are black women, the least attractive male demographic to all women are asian men.

Another blog article showed that for men over 23 years old, making more than $100K was the most attractive to women. I remember this because the blog post said "basically if you are over 23 and not making $100K, go die in a fire".

Another post showed men being over 6 ft was more attractive to women.... etc, etc. As if that is news to anyone, but these younger generations dont believe their eyes unless its a data back up per reviewed paper.

And yet another proved that famous "80/20 rule", where women rated 80% of men less than average attractiveness while men rated women on a bell curve.

These of course were before the internet forcibly became PC. But you can find it out there.

i like that Rogan does long-form interviews where he just lets his guests talk. Its a drastic change from the 30 second interviews you see on legacy media. Its good too because while some interviewee may be able to prepare for a 30 second interview, with known scripted questions but they cant for a 2 hour one, and no one has the fortitude to keep track of their lies and agenda for that long of a time, and Rogan calls them out when they slip up. I dont care for his politics, thats not why I watch him, and I only do when I see a guest I am interested in, which is again rare. Triggernometry is also good for that same reason: long-form open interviews.

the proposal is banning new gas powered car sales by 2035. The poors will have to make due with used gas cars still available. I think its going to go through, maybe pushed back a few more years as 2035 gets closer and it becomes more clear that still only ~4% of the population drives EVs. I also think they wont ban outside the state sales of new gas powered cars but tax the crap out of them when brought into CA.
