The dating site Ok Cupid used to have a blog where they compiled data and talked about it and insights. It was a good read.
One article showed the data that the least attractive female demographic to all men are black women, the least attractive male demographic to all women are asian men.
Another blog article showed that for men over 23 years old, making more than $100K was the most attractive to women. I remember this because the blog post said "basically if you are over 23 and not making $100K, go die in a fire".
Another post showed men being over 6 ft was more attractive to women.... etc, etc. As if that is news to anyone, but these younger generations dont believe their eyes unless its a data back up per reviewed paper.
And yet another proved that famous "80/20 rule", where women rated 80% of men less than average attractiveness while men rated women on a bell curve.
These of course were before the internet forcibly became PC. But you can find it out there.
there is intersectionality, there isnt hard/firm rankings, but aggregate data. Im sure ginger dudes, who are white, rank lower for women than non-ginger white dudes. But where ginger white dudes rank in relation to the other races, who knows.
Another odd dichotomy because female redheads according to OK Cupid blog, get the most attention.

Things like this are usually not coincidences. Its usually for the same reason. For example, Asian women are popular for being petit and feminine looking. Asian men are less popular with women for the exact same reason: being smaller and less masculine looking.

If the data was more extensive, I wonder if the least popular category of men for women would have been gingers.

thats exactly the reasons why, its sad that its not common knowledge.
The term is called "neoteny" which is "youthful" traits, desirable in women, not desirable in men. Asians are the most neotenous.
