Games wise, 7 and 8 were barely Resident Evil games. I actually liked 6 for what it was worth but it was a departure in terms of gameplay from previous games. At least it had characters form previous games other than Chris though (he's my favorite character, but the lack of other regulars was odd.)
Contrary to 80s action movies, one man cannot take on an army. It takes a village to fight a village. The Muslims have a tribe, working social technology. One lone man, no matter how smart, no matter how strong, cannot beat a people. The death of Christendom has left the people of the west with no working social technology. A people with no social technology, no matter how educated, wealthy or physically healthy, cannot defeat a foe with a working social order.
For several decades being law abiding and nice and worrying about others percrptions were considered the ultimate of virtues in the west. Turns out those are only virtues in moderation. Also, despite the ultra social nature of the modern west, true tribalism is dead. Apartment complexes and suburbs are poor replacements for small towns and villages.
I too would like to volunteer. I do have questions though, do we get to drink vodka while doing so? Do we have to learn the hopak?
