Eastern Europe's biggest problem is that the anti-communists are now the establishment, so young people are responding and buttressing up against the anti-communists. It's also no help that the Easter European governments aren't known for integrity, and they did relatively little against Covid, showing an underlying authoritarianism that's still present.
I'm surprised at the suddenness of the shift, but I expect that that is related to some specific series of polices since it happened all in one year.
As for the American orbit, those countries are going to fare better as the collapse of Fabianism is going to basically allow American right-wing cultural issues (particularly into the anglosphere), to transmit everywhere else.
