Yes. Yes it has. Progressive commercials where they mock their viewers, progressive half time shows, pink jerseys for breast cancer, a couple minutes of plays for several minutes of commercials, dumbed down plays, and the aforementioned lgbt/ black lives matter. Even some of the normies have noticed, friends of mine call it the "National Felon League" and have switched to college ball. Still a lot of normies watch it though, but there has been enough of a drop in viewers that even South Park had mocked the NFL.
As opposed to... what? The NFL having LGBT patches and kneeling for black lives matter? Only hockey and MMA fighters seem to have the balls to resist cultural degradation. MLB players did too, for a time, but I have been told they have been giving in.
Yes and no. The classic jock has been replaced by the preppy type in 6 different social clubs so he can get a good playing job that his tiger mom approves of. There was even a book about that phenomenon and the changes in education from the 80s onwards. That said, lots of former jocks fit the stereotype of getting fat and following the rules blindly. Normies gotta normie. So, yes and no. The old school dudes who played for fun and then went on with their lives don't really exist, at least not in large numbers.
Brian Neimeier has one of the best arguments for debt forgiveness, and one of the best arguments that normie right wingers really worship Mammon. It took me 7 years to pay off my loans and I never wound up in the field for my degree. I have no debt now, but no house or family of my own either. I understand the idea of the debt jubilee, and the right has got to come to grips with universities being a waste of time for the majority of people.
When I was in college a decade ago it was already being debated on whether or not college was worth a damn. Most college graduates wound up in jobs that didn't require a degree, degrees had been watered down to the point they weren't worth the paper they were printed on, etc. I remember media outlets talking about these very points, with discussions on the increasing debt everyone held.
Now, everyone seems to have forgotten these discussions from just a decade ago. It is so bizarre. Everyone is still sending their kids off to college. I brought up the topic in a normie bar and I got shut down hard by "right wingers" when everyone was discussing it just a decade ago. It is so bizarre how much America has changed.
For the record, I am still not sure about debt forgiveness. I have seen arguments for and against from dissidents. Obviously, this is the left buying the votes of the young. But the old right is playing into their hands like the fools they are... maybe that is why the discussion got shut down. Turned into yet another dividing point between the left NPCS and the "right" grillers/ normies.
That is a good point. I remember reading on America during the late 1800 and early 1900s, and how there were feuds and political fights. Politicians would win elections and move into areas of power while bringing their minions and allies in to take over control over key positions in cabinets and industries. Methinks America was always a bit shady.
There was a theory that went around the manosphere back when tattoos just started getting big that tattoos and piercings were not just signs of mental illness and drug abuse but cries for help. Basically, in a world where you cannot lash out externally it is a form of self-mutilation. Like those girls who used to cut their arms. It is a way to get attention safely in a world where one's reputation is worth everything.
Ezekiel 25:17 I will carry out great vengeance upon them and punish them in my wrath. Then they will know I am the Lord when my vengeance comes upon them.
Matthew 12-13 Then Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who were selling and buying in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a den of robbers.”
Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them,But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
It is not just that she got uglier. If those models are in a row oldest to newest then.. the actual models have gotten worse over time.
