I wish the Russian hackers would hit the textbook companies!

Despite what schools teach nowadays, the US was founded on Christianity, and English society likewise was grounded on the Bible for hundreds of years. One core tenant was the teaching of Jesus, "let your yes be yes and your no be no," and this reflected throughout society.

Now, even the average church-goer isn't really God fearing in how they live their life, and the unchurched certainly aren't. Instead of "love your neighbor as yourself," self love is taught, to put one's emotions and desires above all else.

As a result, society has become filled with self centered liars and flakes, who make every decision first and foremost based on their own desires.

Isn't it funny that the same people who cry "my culture isn't a costume!!!" also have a mental breakdown if someone dare put on something like an Imperial Japanese costume or a Nazi uniform in jest?

I know it's just a headline, but I'd phrase it as "Fetterman's team sued," because Fetterman isn't doing any thinking besides if he gets chicken tenders or a cheeseburger for dinner.

Well you see, the greenhouse gases trap the sun's energy in like a greenhouse, and just like a greenhouse it gets colder! Don't believe it? Why do you hate Science?

English is the biggest vector of this stuff in general classes. Probably 13 years ago, I remember a friend telling us how the book the professor was currently having them read for some English class was too much, with explicit descriptions of gay sex. He even had a gay friend in the class that agreed with him that it was too much.

I watched a female engineer give the most embarrassingly ignorant presentation in front of an old work group, where guys who I don't think even had an associate questioned her.

I wonder if giving the most incompetent employees presentations semi-regularly for them to humiliate themselves is an effective way to get many to quit.

Most people hear the story fileted through antagonistic forces. They hear it through the news, a YouTuber, or some social media shill.

Yet for most people, they still are better off trying and failing at streaming than getting in huge debt for a humanities or social science degree. Even a biology degree isn't exactly a slam dunk for a decent job since there are so many failed pre-med students.

Basically I discourage anyone from going to a university without a solid plan of why, otherwise I try to push them towards community/city college or trade school

I strongly believe the worship of science plays a large role too. The average person knows nothing about science, so when they hear people use catchphrases like "brain chemistry," they just assume the Priests of Science are going to give them the blessing of Science to make everything better.

I have heard such ideas before, and I think one big reason is because the some of the most degenerate members of society are fans of anime and video games, however that is putting the cart before the horse.

Trans love make-believe and escapism because they hate reality, so they flock to these things. When we look at Japan, however, they aren't overrun by troons, although they do have a large amount of people who are discontent with real life and love the escapism anime allows. Still, fantasy being popular with certain types of people is a symptom, not a cause, it doesn't mean all who enjoy it are degenerate, and many anime can be fine in moderation (although some is strictly negative).

Man seemingly had a come to Jesus moment, and most all the statements he's made I agree with have come after that; his choice to marry a whore came years before that, and don't think it is fair to forever anchor a person's ideas and actions to past mistakes.

Not saying current Kanye is some perfect man to model a life after, but it sure looks like the man is trying to live well and even fight the system of corruption.

My health insurance tripled in price within a few months of Obamacare. It was under $100, coverage was like $270 after Obama care.

Believe in moral absolutes and truth is a far right idea to communists, as truth is the ultimate enemy of marxism.

She must be very insecure in her mechanical abilities to feel attacked by a non-attack. I worked with an incompetent female electrical engineer who was the same way, nobody said she sucked at her job, but she must have realized she sucked at her job

I do think it might be true for many women in their 20's. But like many things in life, not living for immediate happiness and looking to the future is the better plan.

Maybe it is just the Mexican American culture, but it isn't like that as much at the predominantly hispanic high schools. The richer schools have that problem (along with heavy drug use), but not so much the working class schools.

Those drugs aren't going to pay for themselves, he had no choice but armed robbery! Capitalism is the real villain here.

The boys at most of the schools in my area would drive that teacher out, make them quit of their own volition.

Do we know the shooter got apprehended? Don't hundreds of shootings in Chicago go uncharged every year, even on camera?
