When I got into the game dev business in 91, the days of the NSES, it was all white men in their late 20’s. I witnessed the women coming in and the trouble they brought. Studio dynamics trouble, rather than ruining products. I’ve yet to work anywhere in the last 30ish years that had more than a few open gays on staff. In movies, producers are as important as the director, in so far as the ‘vision’ goes. They work together.
