In movies, producers are as important as the director, in so far as the ‘vision’ goes. They work together. In video games producers are about managing the pipe line, and bringing me my dinner if I’m working late. They don’t have power like movie producers do. Wokeness in games comes from below. Mostly writing, but with a lot of help from designers which are supposed to be the creative tip of the spear, but they don’t have a creative bone in their body except for the one their boyfriend pushes up their ass. Every god damned junior college in the US now has a games program, they take these empty consumers of content and convince them that they can create content. They can’t. Creativity is a muscle that most designers have never used, they just play games. They never painted, wrote a story or a poem, never sculpted shit. They are creatively bankrupt, but they have a junior college certificate saying they are capable, and they’re not. They adapt to ideology that they think will be embraced and sell, their bosses support this, they all forget most game consumers are male. So many of the fucks they hire are liberal women and jews. I entered the industry in the ‘golden age’, 1992. It was like Mad Men. All guys, madly creating. Three martini lunches, stripper girlfriends, No PC, or woke filters, and we were all getting rich. Now, it’s just another job. I’m ranting. I’ll stop.
