Rationally, I'd say that you shouldn't ally your self with someone just because you think they will win. It's feckless behavior and it can become a self fulfilling prophecy. That's why Sarumon joined Sauron and the situation is analogous to statements made by JD Vance regarding the Russian military advantage. I don't keep up with everything Tucker Carlson says but I would guess he also echoes these statements, given what a dancing monkey he was during his russia trip.
I'd say the most dangerous tool, if it exists, would be intel on the location and activities of high ranking russian officials and putin himself.
