Blackbird and the Offer are one-offs. The Bear will almost certainly be season one bait. Dark Winds -- I'm holding out hope! I can't tell you how wonderful it was to watch a Native indian show that was almost entirely about Native indians being Native indians. Of course... they can't go too far into the reality, because glue-sniffing 5 year olds don't make for sympathetic story-telling.

Ha! Probably the right answer. I wouldn't have watched any of these shows without my injury, but their 'woke' level was about 1980s-level.

Any reason you stopped reading Outcast? I really loved the show. Brent Spiner (from TNG) was in it, and it really made me appreciate him as an actor. The set-up of TWD and Outcast were so perfect -- they really made you care about the people.

These days, skipping the parts with women is almost required to make shows watchable.

Are the comics a good read? I noped out of the TV show after the 2nd season. You're right -- it felt like work rather than fun!

I actually really liked his other TV show, "Outcast" -- but it got cancelled. I've been meaning to get the comics for that one.

If you can mentally peel back the tattoos, and somehow ignore the nose-thing, she's quite attractive.

Gizortnik uses the term 'Fabian Socialism'. It's more palatable to the normie, so it might allow you to see that there is a Worldwide (((Conspiracy))) Bent on Enslaving Us All...

Only 2% of his cabinet is jewish, otherwise the NYT and WaPo would make a huge story about over-representation, and the resultant lack of diversity.

It's the only place you can do that without push-back. Sometimes you just need a good bitch-session.

Gizortnik, while usually very eloquent and balanced in his thought, gets extremely acerbic and vitriolic when talking about Science (tm). I think we've found his religion.

Eh, not even one century. Do you really think we blanketed the sea with accurate temperature scales back in 1920? Maybe about 50 years of 'accuracy'.

DangerCat 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's impossible to be both for Global Warming and non-hysterical. If you look at the satellite data for the last 50 years (drroyspencer.com), the temperature has been going up at a rate of about 1C (1.8F) per century. There's nary a trace of acceleration.

So, on average, we would expect the global average temperature to go up about 0.8C (1.5F) by 2100. And that's presupposing that we understand the dynamics of climate -- heck, we don't even understand cloud formation well enough to model it accurately.

(Edit: So the question to you is... if the middle of North Carolina becomes as hot as the north of South Carolina... is that really a problem? It doesn't quite work that way, but it's a good "1st order appproximation" to understand the depth of the hoax)

Global Warming is a hoax being pushed by politicians. And then propagated by guys like Gizortnik who, I think, suffers from having a physics background, and thus thinks that theory is more important than reality.

Is Sturgill Simpson considered non-jewed?

Well, the 'fittest' are those best able to adapt and thrive in the current environmental conditions... and her video did get 270K views, so I guess that puts her among the fittest in what we're calling a society these days.

India's getting woker and woker. There's a ton of gender equality in higher education, and it's not like the women are going to IIT. No, they're doing the same thing white women are.

The country, though, is so massive, that you'd probably never notice the wokeness unless you actively looked for it.

Two other cruxes are:

(1) we're sort of running out of science to do (2) the science that we've done seems less and less meaningful

I think he's saying the same thing that you are.

I'm straight -- but if I sodomize a girl, or get obsessed by sucking her toes, then how am I different than a gay? The only big difference is that women are less accessible than gay men, so I wouldn't be able to indulge with as many partners.

Climate Change is a more accurate term for "global warming" because global warming is a misnomer because too many people... like you... assume that what that means is that every single person's temperature is universally going to raise, despite the fact that there has NEVER been any scientific basis for that claim, and no one actually involved in the science makes that claim because it's asinine. Once again, the thing that is warming is the average planetary air premature, which I will remind you is around 51 F. That increasing by 3-6 degrees is the explanation for the wider climatological effects.

What an odd thing to say! CO2 is more or less uniformly distributed in the atmosphere, so to a first-order approximation you would, indeed, expect the temperature of every place on earth to go up uniformly. That's the basis of the Arrhenius model that started all this off about a century ago. Of course Ninos/Ninas/AMO/PMOs will modify this, so no one really expects a uniform increase in temperature.

Also: "Climate Change" is in no way a more accurate term for "global warming" -- it's merely unfalsifiable. Since you're on KIA2, you obviously understand that the left uses language as a cudgel. "Climate Change" is simply a strategy to force people to say... 'well, okay, obviously there's climate change going on, but how much of it is attributable to CO2?' -- this makes it seem like us deniers are conceding the point at the outset.

And: If you're going to quote temperatures, you're probably better off using Kelvin, so that people understand that we're looking at a potential change of 2K against a background of 280K.

Ha! I see what you mean. The problem is that you and I can immediately discard a grievance studies degree. We might take "phylogenetics" seriously, and thus think that some chick legit has something useful to say. So these chick-STEM degrees are somehow even more subversive!

It's going to be a massively increasing trend. Once society decides that sex is largely about physical pleasure rather than procreation... well, there's lots of different ways to masturbate.
