The guy in charge now used to be Mugabe's vice president.

I'm guessing that it was Chinese pressure that caused this about-face. They invested money in Zimbabwe and got mad at the Zimbabweans burning their investment down. At the time of the coup there were lots of rumours that China backed it. So, if Chinese power ever falters they'll go right back to the way it was. IMO those whites are idiots for returning.

It's a bit harder than that.

You need to know how deep to till (it depends on where you are). You'll need to fertilize the soil, but not too much (again it depends on where you are). The soil mustn't be too wet or too dry. Irrigation can get quite complex. Again it depends on where you are. Rain-fed agriculture doesn't work everywhere, plus it leaves you vulnerable to droughts. Too much rain and you'll have to get rid of the excess water. Any operation at scale will need proper irrigation (this is one of the things the Zimbabweans just couldn't do, in fact - they ripped out the pipes the whites laid to sell for scrap, then they were surprised they couldn't grow much). Then there's pest control. (In Zimbabwe, animal and human pests - you could say even the white farmers failed at this.) Plus, you'll need to deal with weeds and crop diseases. Can you afford Monsanto's seeds and Roundup? That's the easiest way. If you want to go the biological route it's another long list of "it depends on where you are". You'll also need to be careful about not exhausting the soil, if you want to grow something next year as well.

Even if you manage it, OK, then you'll have a bunch of corn. Can you process it? Store it properly? Can you sell it easily? Can you transport it? Again, this is where Zimbabwe failed. Even if you only aim to feed yourself and somehow don't need to pay taxes, you still need money to pay for upkeep of the irrigation systems, to buy fertilizer, etc, etc.

They're not entirely wrong here, I think.

The Nobel Peace Prize has been given to so many weirdos. At best it's a prize given to people who are already famous, for saying the right thing, like e.g. Linus Pauling. He won a legitimate Nobel Prize in Chemistry, then afterwards got a Peace Prize for being against nukes while famous. Otherwise it's given to suitably leftish, international organizations like the UNHCR or the Red Cross. It's also given to people who are victims and accomplish nothing. Liu Xiaobo got one for opposing the Chinese government and ending up like people tend to when they do that. Malala Yousafzai got one for getting shot by the Taliban. And then it's given to outright warmongers. Yasser Arafat got one for going to war against Israel and then mellowing out a bit later in his life. And just last year they gave one to the prime minister of Ethiopia, who has been stoking ethnic conflict in order to cement his power (he could be a Democrat, he'd fit right in).

Obama being given one for being black is outright one of the better ones (even if he did later become the first Peace Prize laureate to bomb another Peace Prize laureate), and it's not like this is new either. Woodrow Wilson was given one, the man who started the tradition of American involvement in overseas wars. Giving Peace Prizes semi-randomly to American presidents is also a tradition almost as old as the Nobel Prize itself. The Peace Prize is nothing but politics and hasn't ever been anything else. (This goes for Literature too. It's being part of the right team that matters. It's really only the Physics, Chemistry and Medicine prizes that have any merit at all.)

As for Trump, at least he hasn't started a new war. Amazingly, he's the first US president since Carter not to start a new war. That makes him a better Peace Prize nominee than many of them, though this bar is low indeed. And concerning Israel, I don't think there'll be peace until one of the two groups has been removed from the area, but again, trying and failing to broker a peace is also a good way to get a Peace Prize.

Yes, I'd like Trump to be given a Peace Prize, to own the libs if nothing else, but it's an almost meaningless prize, given basically for being part of the in-crowd (which is why Trump won't get it), and not only has it become this, looking at the list of laureates, it seems it has never really been much more. Abolishing it would be the honest thing to do. (I would say, get rid of the Literature prize while you're at it, which has the same problems, and perhaps Economics too.)

I mean, with antifa people I can understand it. It's often not obvious from looking at them.

77 million? Come on, that's a bit extreme. Even half that and the living standards will fall to the point where nobody else will even want to come. And in turn, neither Biden nor Harris would want to preside over that happening. This is hysteria of the same caliber as Trump Derangement Syndrome.

It's also an enormous amount of people. You could empty out all of Central America and you'd still be 30 million short.

They are smoking crack, that's why they need all the money. A drug habit isn't cheap.

Black people die of heart disease! It's the racist white doctors' fault! Get rid of them, get black doctors instead!

...

What do you mean pass the exams? They're racist white exams!

Yeah. Lukashenko's a dictator, and over his career he has not shied away from the repressive tactics that that job tends to require. Not a nice man.

But on the other hand, what's going on now stinks to high heaven. If you ask me, Brussels or Washington or maybe both are trying to depose him, install someone globohomo-friendly instead, and pull Belarus into their orbit. It's like the Arab Spring. This kind of thing doesn't happen on its own, and the fact that the media is giving it so much attention makes it clear that something's up. On top of that, I don't recall that this kind of "regime change" has ever actually made a country a better place for its citizens. It seems the best you can hope for is more of the same (like Egypt), and the worst is total collapse (like Libya).

all the fucktards that desperately want their children to be trannies or gay or transexual gay strippers.

Don't forget that, despite them making the news often because of sensationalism, those fucktards are a tiny minority. The vast majority of parents actually care about their children.

Also, if the responsibility is with parents, the fucktards can only fuck up their own children. Teachers can fuck up other people's kids in large batches. And the teachers (except the old ones) are all but guaranteed to have sat through indoctrination in college to believe that all of this stuff is desirable. Even the ones who don't believe have to go along, because everyone else believes.

Every time it has been tried, it has worked very well. For the people in power, that is. Nobody dared to oppose Stalin.

There's a pandemic, everyone's been shut in for months and most outdoor entertainment has been stopped. People have little to do but watch TV. And even then they manage to lose almost half their viewership. Good going!

Make your own food. It's way cheaper. Tastier too, if you get proper ingredients, and it'll still be cheaper.

At this point, perhaps you should leave, if you can.

You and the people like you (i.e., civilized people) are apparently not a majority there, as your own government, elected by the people you share the city with, is explicitly saying they're not going to prosecute the rioters.

A place like that needs people like you to pay for it all, it's the only reason they can afford to act like this. So stop doing that, and leave.

They could easily meet whatever target by arresting all those Pakistani groomers.

Except of course that that'd be racist.

I don't understand how someone could be that cucked.

Anti-Apartheid advocate killed by a black mob around the end of apartheid. Murderers were pardoned a few years later by the black government, explicitly due to politics.
