I'll just throw it out there and say that any teacher who is genuinely worried or apprehensive about parents listening, or participating, in their child's education is a teacher who is up to no good and can't be trusted.
There's absolutely no reason whatsoever that parents should be removed from the equation when it comes to their children's education. It's not even debatable either. Parents should always be included and encouraged to participate because they're a critical part of the process.
This guy simply doesn't want to get caught pushing his ideals on the children, and is upset that any child would get their ideals from home.

Yeah, a parent should always be aware of what is going on with his/her child’s education, because it is in their own best interest to make sure that the child is able to get an education and someday take care of a family of their own. Public school was supposed to be an easy way to allow everyone, no matter their economic status that opportunity, but with the advent of technology, and the increasing lower cost, home schooling is becoming a lot more accessible. That combined with cases like this, have guaranteed that if/when I have kids, they will be not be attending public education

Not only is it more accessible, but it will also strengthen the bonds of the family and the one on one attention is massively beneficial to the child.
But I think it's less about the material on tests and exams, and more about the "social" lessons that teachers have been cramming into children's minds. Especially when you consider they're trying to instill into children that they carry sin simply for existing -- which is some next level fucked up.
My biggest worry with the method of teaching social issues they're presently using is that it's going to have the opposite effect on the children when they grow older. I'm worried that there will be an obscene amount of young men who have been told that because of their sexual orientation they're oppressing others; that by virtue of their gender, their core masculine identity is toxic; because of the color of their skin they're evil and everything wrong in the world; because they don't bend over backwards for xxxxx group they deserve to be ostracized. That's what worries me. Because I can promise that anyone who has been told their whole life they're a piece of shit and everything wrong in the world is absolutely going to lash-out. Maybe not all of them, but certainly a large enough portion that people should be concerned.
We've witnessed this how many times throughout history? Yet people still think all of this obvious racism and sexism is ok because the target is white people?
They better hope these kids don't grow up saying, "fuck it" and embracing the labels placed on them by these people.

Yeah that is what I meant when I said “cases like this.” Some people don’t like to admit it, but the black community still faces some issues that were derived from Jim Crow. Now imagine if it becomes Jim Snow. You have the majority of the population in a lot of western countries, that are becoming an oppressed group, which does come with severe social problems. We already have minority preference hiring, how much longer until it is illegal to hire whites, all in the name of diversity. We already know what happens when a group of people are perpetually victimized by society, so picture that on a mass scale. However this ends it won’t end pretty, and I fucking hate it so much. I got lucky by going to school in a conservative area, where a lot of this “social justice” shit doesn’t fly, at least for now.

It's also stupid.
These people write entire books and essays on how evil and violent the white race is, right? So why the hell are they constantly poking them with a stick? How come their delusions never pan out in reality? Believe me, we're all seriously tired of it.

Because, like when they do it with non-humans, they can cry "see?! waaah, look how dangerwous" when the poked bear finally reacts to defend himself, and justify that self-defensive move to bring out all guns and remove all stops and geneva convention nonsense. All because the bear had the audacity to defend himself from his "betters" and you know, got all uppity.

Now imagine if it becomes Jim Snow.

It's likely the strong sense of racial identity and solidarity among Blacks was born from Jim Crow. I would expect a similar thing to happen to Whites under a long enough Jim Snow regime. Eventually America will have its very own Orania, and then it will have a lot more than just one.

If you think a strong sense of White identity and solidarity is bad thing, your only option is to stop Jim Snow before it starts in earnest. If you think it's a good thing, all you need to do is make some popcorn and enjoy the show.

The best part is, you are far more likely to be able to implement your ideal "nordic model" society by getting together with a group of likeminded homesteaders and settling some land under that model. And what sounds more satisfying: "nordic model" Current Year (or even 2010-era) US, or a society you helped found and shape from nothing?

Really, information about what's being taught should be publicly available. After all, millages regularly come up where the local school system asks for new millages to increase funding or existing ones to be extended. The public should be able to easily see what they're paying for.

I wonder, do such teachers think that they are somehow saving these children form their parents?

Such an attitude (and I can't think what other attitude would be necessary to induce this behaviour) lays bare the proprietary attitude they have to the children under their "care".

Yes:

Tessa, a 29-year-old in the Midwest who teaches 14- to 18-year-olds at a private school for students with learning impairments, says that while many of her students “simply take on the talking points and politics of their conservative parents,” this can make them especially ripe targets for full-blown radicalization and infatuation with far-right figures. “A few started listening to Joe Rogan’s podcast, which led to them reading Jordan Peterson’s books,” she says. “I think that Joe Rogan’s ideology is the biggest threat to critical thinking in the last decade.”

(...)

Here, the problem of students radicalizing online is often compounded at a social and institutional level, with far-right views being encouraged by parents and even other teachers.

Holy shit imagine the positive impact reading JP's book would have on a teenager? Lucky little shits. Hope that lady didn't figure out how to reverse it.

It's perfectly consistent for a group of people who did nothing but go to school prior to becoming a teacher.

While I won't comment on this specific case, this

Parents should always be included and encouraged to participate because they're a critical part of the process.

is debatable. Not every parent has the best interest of their child in mind, eg. all the fucktards that desperately want their children to be trannies or gay or transexual gay strippers.

There's no perfect system. Better more oversight from individual parents than none enforced by law. That leads to dictatorial brainwashing. The more eyes the better and our base assumption should be that parents want what's best for their progeny than the opposite.

Some children are just born into fucked up gamily situations and that's what teachers should be on the look out for.

all the fucktards that desperately want their children to be trannies or gay or transexual gay strippers.

Don't forget that, despite them making the news often because of sensationalism, those fucktards are a tiny minority. The vast majority of parents actually care about their children.

Also, if the responsibility is with parents, the fucktards can only fuck up their own children. Teachers can fuck up other people's kids in large batches. And the teachers (except the old ones) are all but guaranteed to have sat through indoctrination in college to believe that all of this stuff is desirable. Even the ones who don't believe have to go along, because everyone else believes.

The parents should take back the control. Much as they like to think so, school administrators are not gods whose word cannot be questioned. Tell the admins to go fuck themselves and you'll listen to whatever you want in your own home. Better yet homeschool your kids.

Ever wonder how we got to this point?

People in charge demand unreasonable things, and everyone else just goes along while grumbling under their breath instead of refusing to play along. Do that for several generations, and you get what we have today.

Nah, you still have the option to homeschool. If anything, parents are more free now to homeschool with working from home or not working at all due to covid.

Kids who go to schools controlled by regressive leftists will experience abuse by these extremists if they refuse to accept their ideology.

They will allow regressive leftist bulling by students while demanding the victims comply with intersectionalism to make it stop instead of doing something about the extremist twats. They will also wrongfully punish students who retaliate against regressive leftists in the student body.

Staff will force students to perform assignments laced with regressive leftist propaganda and grade based off of compliance rather than quality, and if the child resists the extremist propaganda the teacher will simply keep stacking on punishments until they decide to expel the student for noncompliance while slandering them as a bigot in the process.

When confronted, staff will aggressively lie either out of extremist ignorance and/or in an attempt to avoid the argument entirely, and also bash the parents for criticizing their extremist ideology while conspiring to prevent parents from monitoring what they are doing. The regressive leftist staff will also file false complaints to child protective services.
