Where I am all the cloth masks in stores are labeled as "decorative" or "fashion", and the face shields and plastic barriers make very generic claims like "help us safely reopen" and "meets CDC guidelines for coronavirus PPE". Because (in the US at least) if the manufacturer made specific claims about reducing infection rates the FDA would require them to do a clinical study demonstrating it (as well as demonstrating that there aren't adverse effects due to use).
I think it's worth taking a moment to consider why no one seems to want to do the clinical study demonstrating safety and efficacy, while similar claims for treatments like hydroxochloroquine were dismissed as "invalid without a clinical study to back them". Meanwhile the FDA doesn't even let you sell antibacterial soap without putting it through a clinical trial.
