I worked in anti money laundering at a few banks - they will absolutely take sides bc one side is open terrorism. The penalties for that, whether we knew it or not, are massive. Entire divisions and departments of people were monitoring flagged accounts and transactions. Often consultants from the DOJ were on site to assist.
I have HBO+ and am burning through the older series before quitting. I’ve tried a handful of their new stuff and it’s brutally bad.

There is no easy way to find good music anymore. Every service is payola garbage and media managers pushing pop and rap to the front of EVERYTHING. Ive had apple, Spotify, Tidal, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and SoundCloud.
It’s the same fuckin trash lists pushed to the front across all of them. They are not different at all from one another.
the only music i listen to anymore are DJ sets for exercising. As a music fan of 30+ years, it’s pretty much dead to me at this point. The effort needed to find quality stuff is no longer worth the tiny output I receive.
Outside of the mountain and bmx community, the entire bike “scene” is toxic as hell.
I don’t know what it is about pavement, but those who ride on it lose their god damn minds and begin to turn batshit crazy. If you get a few of them together, they become an impotent little horde with a serious attitude problem toward the world around them.

I passed out while observing a surgery once bc of the knee lock. The nurses told me it’s common. People lock their knees and stand in one place for too long and they pass out. Supposed to do a shuffle side to side and move around some.
Are there any young black men without an arrest history? Better yet - are there any black men in their 40s that have never been arrested?

I live in Florida and my younger friends with social media started really limiting the photos they put online.
Well be out on the boat, at a bbq, or some other social gathering and they’ll mention these are all personal photos. If they put them online it just causes problems with friends out of state.
These people aren’t just envious, they’re nasty and confrontational. The young women aren’t worried about bumming someone out, they don’t want to deal with the psychos that see people living normal lives and go apeshit.
And all those angry people have only themselves to blame. They drank the whole pitcher of koolaid, screamed about mask safety and screamed about social distancing. And now they’re all alone in a boring apartment up north somewhere, everything closed, their own friends and family ready to turn them in for social violations.
And we’re still living a lifelong vacation.
Fuck those losers. My hope is they get so upset they never leave their liberal hell holes. Certainly never bring their bullshit down here.

I’ve essentially gone back by changing my habits alone. No social media, maybe 2-3 forums depending on hobbies, no photo apps or any other narcissistic nonsense.
It’s really pleasant and anyone can do it. All they have to do is stop doing things that make them miserable. The internet is mostly trash now, web surfing is long gone, there is very little reason to use the internet outside of shopping and videos about hobbies.
Anyone can do it, but most would rather drink from the poisoned well and whine that it makes them sick. It’s their own fault

I liked the original Serious Sam and have looked at the later ones a few times and come really close to buying, but the reviews are all over the place. It's either fun or people hate the shit out of it. It's hard to get a bead on what the truth is.

As a person in their 40s, the smart phone revolution brought in a massive wave of mental illness. All of these issues came in a huge wave once social media became usable on mobile devices.
