Pretending the violence we've witnessed has been entirely indiscriminate not targeted at political opponents, or shouting at strawmen that any violence, no matter how measured, makes you no better than an animal is exactly burying your head in the sand and ignoring realpolitik.

It's not that you need to tell me anything, you should just stop telling yourself that fairytales are real before you drag everyone around down with you. Nobody is saying you have to give up all your principles, that's just the sand in your ears speaking, just to examine what parameters within those principles still let you to actually win in the real world.

Ignoring all that and shirking the idea of balancing complex moral calculus so you can live in a world of simplistic all or nothing ultimatums that will never be "all" so are inevitably just chosimg "nothing, but more smug" is just childish.

It's always shocking to me just how many people have no idea of the value of initiative in a fight. They don't realize that "just let them strike first then fight back, so you look better" is saying "just vastly increase the likelihood you will die, so you look better"

If this is ending with establishment blessings, you can almost guarantee what they have planned next is even worse for everyone's freedom somehow.

Engage in real politics and think through the full series of causes an effects that don't lead to a sizeable domestic faction with establishment backing that wants you dead or enslaved actually killing or enslaving you or your friends.

Burying your head in the sand and wailing "I wish it wasn't this way!" isn't one of them.

I think that's because it's all tongue in cheek enough that it's almost universally understood nobody means it when they say "noooo, don't do violence, that's bad", it's just strategic blame dodging.

And since we're already at the point where people are getting shot dead at opposition rallies, even the crazies don't feel the need to agitate further when all their ringleaders are going "shhhhh, act innocent for a minute!"

It's been years. Years of this shit parading unendingly. If you're still stuck on disgust you're like a gastric surgeon who gets squeamish about vomit and shit.

It's an understandable response and in most other contexts perfectly reasonable, but in this one it's still going to piss off whoever has to pick up your slack in the operating room, maybe enough that they'll even call you a cuck. Because you're already on the team that's elbow deep in shit and just going "woe is me, I just want these bowels working correctly" instead of being willing to do the necessary work to make that reality. Disgust isn't a productive emotion and it's one that you rightly should acclimatize to if it's necessary.

The more I think about it, the more I think that even asylums were the first step down the wrong path. It was a concession to overly delicate sensitivities to keep them in stasis in their delusions.

Take them on a boat out into the ocean and tell them their magic fairy friends are waiting for them in the water. The ones who jump in are 95% beyond saving, and 99.99% not worth saving even if you could. It's high time we remembered as a society that some life paths are inevitable dead ends and to stop wasting resources that could help people with actual potential achieve something.

If anyone's behavior is disgusting, it's brothers in the sights of our shared enemy who are still willing to hand them ammo if they just ask nicely enough.

Really seems like neither women nor pajeets should ever be allowed hiring authority.

Their in group bias is too strong and they immediately go about hiring and elevating more and more of their own until the whole thing collapses under incompetence

When the motorcade was backing up and it was all women I immediately knew standards were slipping, then details come out and it turns out they nearly got a president killed over the most basic of oversights.

Depending on how the details of the shooting pan out, but I presume the guy only managed to sneak a handgun in.

So if the plan was to aim to only deliver a flesh wound with a handgun at long range, as a false-assassination plan had a huge chance of becoming an accidental real-assissination because there ain't no way to guarantee that level of accuracy.

Microsoft is probably due for another round of culling as well.

Don't tease me with such promising phrasing

I mean it's not specifically current year bullshit, but the weird casual memory holing of the twin towers ever existing in pop culture is still very much bullshit. There's nothing respectful about Stalin-style editting them out of old pictures like Marty McFly kissed the architect's mom. It's just creepy social engineering to stop people reacting naturally to innocuous reminders of what happened.

Yeah that's a bad habit these days. Political opportunists have fully normalized weaponizing charitable presumptions as a get out of jail free card for taking advantage of people.

High trust society is dead, trust only your friends and others who prove themselves through actions. Don't let the parasites start any more tabs they have no intention of paying.

It is published verbatim as her own words from her own substack, including the parts where she didn't bother to visit her terminally ill father because she couldn't bear to hear him praise trump anymore. In no way does she look like a good guy.

She ran for and won office as a Dem representative, this article trying to humiliate her own dead father and talking about him begging on his deathbed was just a means to an end.

Basically, Ryan (whose name is an anagram of Ayn Rand) is a hyper capitalist who believe in what he calls The Great Chain

It's seven letters, how can you not mentally process a 7 fucking letter anagram properly? Andrew Ryan is not an anagram of Ayn Rand without having a stroke or redefining anagrams so you're allowed to leave letters out like screws in a shoddy repair.

1 point 3 months ago Holy fk. Never realized Andrew Ryan was a caricature of Ayn Rand till now.

Good god if stupidity was a fuel source this thread could bankrupt Saudi Arabia. Took them 17 years to notice.

Just point out zero orgs had to correct trump's claims live during the debate, then link the tweet from the border patrol union explicitly denying biden's claim they endorsed him.

Capitalism has no higher power, it is entirely a human invention and only exists under the power of continuous communal human action. Humans built capitalism and it is fully within human power to corrupt that system, only a fool would blindly trust an empty abstraction to somehow protect itself from its creators. Laissez-faire capitalism isn't supposed to mean nobody is policing the cheaters, it just means that government stooges can't be trusted not to side with the cheaters and the community should do it themselves.

When the majority no longer even understand the abstraction they are participating in, is when that abstraction can be turned so that the majority willingly participate in their own abuse. When BlackRock is 6 steps removed from the system that mutilated and sterilized their kids, people really struggle to aim their retribution where it's most deserved.
