Way I see it, most of these folks are lost in a meta-reality. Their "news," their entertainment, their celebrity-worship culture, their peers, their drugs, their vices, their sex friends, their tiktoks and reddits, certainly their schools and for most their families, all successfully set the game area, and assign them a player role.
Then it seems like they just get nudged. Enough to make them do what someone (whoever that is) wants them to do, go where Entity X needs them to go. Might as well be being dungeon mastered. And if you could get one of these creatures to respond intelligently, they'd probably tell you that it's all some kind of game. Look at those laughing faces right before they go down. As insane as that is, they're having a good time, literally seconds before the reality of the horrifying situation they've created ends in the way it must for them.
It's pretty much the same the last time you and I spoke about these happenings: Everything that led to this is sad, but recognizing it as such can only go so far, not to let that feeling get in the way of accepting hard truths, reality, causality, and what to do about it.
Wishing that they just wouldn't, is nice, but not a reasonable outcome to expect. If they were capable of the kind of reflection and self-awareness you wished they'd employ, they wouldn't be where they are, doing what they're doing right now.
They're doing it de facto, because the regional police are refusing to support them or being ordered to withhold support from them.
In a sane world, the crazies would be stopped from interfering, or from putting themselves in harms' way, by the local constabulary--PD, Sheriff's, etc--and the Feds wouldn't have their butts hanging in the breeze to deal with the looky-loos and the kamikarenkazes and angry cat physique simps.
But this is not a sane world at the moment. Politicians are letting their cities go hot to try and blame it on exactly the only people even talking about making things better.
Hmm. To me this is a lot of squinting (as has been much the case for the last few events as well). By which I mean that I'm squinting too, unsure of exactly what I'm looking at.
Beyond that, I'm extending ICE a lot of grace considering what they're up against at the moment. One, because I think what they're doing is very necessary, and two, because the forces being brought to bear against them is frankly very worrying.
Make no mistake, these folks are being hunted. There's an army of stalkers and profiles out there mining their identities and locations, not to mention that of their families and anyone they're civilly-involved with (job, church, etc.) There's tremendous organizational, network power also dedicated to physically stopping them from conducting their duties.And that's just the NGOs. The amount of civil institutional power being used against them (by Democrats) is not something I thought I'd ever see in my life, and for the first time I don't find it incredible to start using the words "civil" and "war" together to describe the trajectory we're on.

There are about 15,000,000 different goings-on that affect what modern people are like and how they behave. Just because not every observation fully takes into account, oh, I don't know, Jekyll Island or Hamiltonian politics leading up to the American Civil War, doesn't mean these observations are irrelevant, ignorant, or wrong.
As I said before, not everyone has to be a one-stop-shop that delivers to you all the specific things you want to talk about, when you talk about anything. If you're a savvy participant or just listener to any of these news-ish podcast people, you've long since accepted that you don't have to agree entirely with them to appreciate the truth and insight that comes from them. But you've got to be smart about it, at least. For instance, I like Matt Walsh on a lot of things, when he's speaking truths about things he's knowledgeable about. The dude talks 10 hours a day on camera, so obviously he says a lot of stuff I don't care about, don't think is quite right, or is just riffing for infotainment purposes.
You could say the same about any or all of these people--Tucker Carlson, Sam Hyde, Matt Christiansen, Steve Crowder--whoever. They're folk. Take what's valuable, find enrichment in what you like, check their work and their sources if veracity is a priority for you, and ignore the content you don't like.
