All of the triple A companies were indies at one time. They can be replaced like Sierra Online, THQ, and Akklaim.
I'll go one better. One of the last great games by Sierra Online was Half Life. Then Valve released the sequel on Steam and any physical copy could be registered on Steam. The entire company was tanking anyway because of internal politics and weirdness, but they didn't see Steam as a competitor.
I watched Seattle burn during the Covid riots, and politicians lead rioters to each other's houses. All of those politicians are still in power.
Heck, right now all of my lefty friends think we'll have a fourth Reich with Trump. The weird part is it's all middle class white people from around the world who think this. They can't see their own evil, even if you show riots, deaths, and incompetence.
It's a weird thing. Red hair used to mean working class or poor. We don't even think about that anymore because of prominent rich red heads, but it was the reference being made when comics were around.
It's even older than you think. Thor represents the working class in Norse legends. He has a hammer, is red haired, and is built wide like farmers and workmen. This got tossed out the window for comics because it seemed ridiculous to have a Norse God be red haired.
Wait, Kripke? Like the really good producer Kripke? Dangit.
The USSR used nukes to build structures on mountains and have records of it. You can check on that.
When German soldiers go looking for girls, Das Booty.
When we translated Mao's Diaries, he turned out to be ecstatic about the loss of life at the Korean War. He could destroy enemies and make a Boogeyman. Then he could claim the greatness of this or that soldier that died in the war. He did all of that and more.
Space Marines say they tried to climb roof, but were told to stop by Custodes.
That was my thought. Even if the other side won, they will just start firing nukes at each other and lose.
Sadly true.
It's based on Seattle. I've met them several times. The hipster look is strong with them.
Someone with a gun could threaten the government, that's bad.
Or of him walking in the area. Or the blackrock video.
If I had his history, I would flip out too.
That's a way nicer picture than all the others I've seen of the guy the last few days.
Cause they're acting like Frankenstein's BRIDE?
I just checked. Yeah, he did.
That's the U District, Redmond gets upset and complains at the coffee shop about it.
I'm more shocked at how much they aren't responding. I do see comments, but not from friends. Even the crazies are holding back.
One of my almost kids and I loved the techno song.
Also known ast Strong Bad era.
Comedy is really hard. I've seen some good jokes about it and a lot of people floundering.
Have the archive
Nice list
Also, Tolkien was awesome.
