Even I made the mistake of following him for a minute back in the day because he is very good on the US Constitution and the historical foundations of laws. Not a solution though. The problem is games being destroyed, which includes the fact that they can steal back a product they sold you, but also that works of art are being eliminated from history. A true concern of the commons. You can say "you shouldn't have bought those games bro" all you want but gamers are terrible consumers and companies will still destroy games. It's like saying "We just needed to vote harder!"
Just dial back copyright to the 18th century, so leaked vintage source code and server software can be utilized without legal repercussions.
Now that my friend is an excellent idea. I honestly like this better than SKG's goal. Ross probably thought his idea was more reasonable since coming up with something that companies might begrudgingly accept in negotiations was a concern. If they won't accept this they will never accept reduced copyright protections. That and the fact that if corporations wrapped their game in enough bullshit DRM it may never be cracked. So my ideal would be consumers should always have the right to repair their software and redistribute those fixes without it being a copyright violation, and companies must remove all DRM if they are no longer willing to distribute the game or host online dependencies, so that consumers can actually exercise our right to repair.
I have an "accelerate" chaos mindset myself - but practically, it can always get worse. There is no bottom to what people will tolerate. Look at Canada, or the UK, or Australia during COVID. We'd have to go through that and worse before it gets better, and there's still no guarantee of people rising up.
That was really weird and I didn't get the point at all. Then showing a tweet with the guy laughing. I took issue with that more than anything else in the video. I guess his point was "Trump pwned Tucker"? It felt like one of those Indian memes where they use the laughing and pointing emoji and you figure this must have made sense to Indians but it doesn't make sense to anybody else.
Also what the f is this art style supposed to be? Not to repeat myself but I'm seriously questioning what value human creators are bringing to the table here. I can appreciate cute and quirky "scribble art" but that's not cute. It's deliberately ugly.
If that's a fake website it's really well done. That's insane. Why would anyone do this? I know why scammers do it (to make money) but someone legitimately spent many hours of their life and more than $100 to "get random internet personality to eat dog food."
Not entirely sure if this is what you were alluding to, but this is a point that the "men need to step up" conservatives overlook. There was a time when you could slap a bitch and nobody cared, as long as she was your bitch. Even the lowly "beta male" could put his foot down and make his wife comply, without laying a finger on her, because both of them knew civilization was on his side if he did. The other side of "women are the fairer sex and we must protect them at all times" was "women must obey their protectors".
Then when you complain they say that's not Israel's problem and "this is what you voted for". They look at the denizens of Europe and America as stupid cattle who deserve what they get. Not to demoralize, but there are times when I don't think they're wrong.

Personally I don't see them succeeding on the legal fronts, but SKG may transition into a general consumer movement to push against the practice of destroying games in general.

I'm glad he calmly stated his arguments instead of sperging out over petty disagreements with the other regulars, and when challenged he simply laid out the facts with nuance and grace. A true voice of reason and civility in these trying times.
