Eh, the FBI wants this one found. Not so much with the SCOTUS thing.

So, if a woman regrets sex with a man after the fact, it's abuse, and the man's at fault.

And if a man regrets sex with a woman after the fact, it's abuse, and the man's at fault.

I think I see the agenda at play here...

Yes; The British government wants these migrants because they'll happily break into the country, even when conditions are getting bad enough to tank the birth rate in indigenous Brits.

They don't want to make this better

You're not "nobody" - you're a dissenter.

And people like this can only be happy once every last bit of dissent has been stamped out.

Honestly, the main surprise is that they bother hiding it.

Do I correctly recall the DNC going on record during the Bernie thing to state that no, the DNC itself decides who wins? The voting stuff is purely for show.

Yes, of course they do.

Do you think that journo would keep the even-handed elements of such a system in the unlikely event they were able to copy it to the US?

Am I surprised that a journalist favours surrendering every last freedom, all for the ability to live exactly as directed by the government?

I don't agree with Pearl about a huge amount, but she's not actually wrong on this, is she?

As for "Risk-based aversion" - the point about taking a gamble is that there's supposed to be a reward for your risk-taking. That's what makes taking a risk worthwhile in the first place.

What, exactly, is the reward these days? I'm not seeing much of one, but I am seeing an awful lot of risk there.

Men in general can be pretty ruthless about stuff like this. If it's not worth it, why bother with it?

It's a form or narcissism, is it not, to insist that literally everything happens with reference to you?

4
APDSmith 4 points ago +4 / -0

From what I understand of the commentary, this is a two-year (almost) stopgap.

So, presumably, look for the hammer to fall somewhere else - presumably on the US public - within that window so that banks and large corporates can retain their value after somebody else has taken whatever hits need taking...

Eh, they're necessary, but it's also necessary to moderate the feedback they receive about their performance.

What's happened with British police forces is that since the Macpherson inquiry, the overwhelming metric British police forces have been measured by is their compliance with the demands of minority demographics, and that is squarely on the Home Office. They're the ones doing the measuring and financing the whole thing.

If there was a muslim caliphate the current police force would all step up for their new roles in the Metropolitan Police of Vice and Virtue.

They don't actually appear to value anything about the people they are supposed to protect.

Pfft.

You and I both know that if the British government seizes golf courses, they're going to be used for racks upon racks of pods to store more immigrant population in.

Ahh, but how insulting is Parker's death? If we've got an ideological point to make there's no depth to the depravity these zealots will inflict upon their enemies.

11
APDSmith 11 points ago +11 / -0

Why ever would they?

If they're full-on socialist, what they want most of all is to hammer civilisation flat in the hope that a better one can be built from the ashes for the few survivors. Importing Palestine and it's regional conflicts appears to be a very good way to further that agenda.

Don't worry, though, I'm sure that an offer of American citizenship will induce plenty of foreign fighters to come sign up!

Because I'm sure that's where this is leading...

4
APDSmith 4 points ago +4 / -0

... for the same reason any race swap is simultaneously:

  • A truly minor thing only a bigot would even notice
  • Vital representation that must take place to move our civilisation forwards!

Yeah, I mod an unrelated Discord - it's a duty, but a duty to something that I think merits it - I'm modding, not winning a Victoria Cross here...

So now you have secret hearings that determine the fate of your new nobility.

Congrats, that's how the British Star Chamber started.

One should wait a while as to not make it look suspicious

That would be under the assumption that they're scurrying around in the shadows.

This is, I suspect, meant as a message. It's not like the US civil service is hiding it's bias now, is it? They'll make a half-hearted denial to the press for the look of the thing, and then, the next day, a new announcement that they're targeting more Democrat rivals.

Of course.

Musk is "guilty" and will be punished, they just need to decide what he's legally guilty of first...

Agree, but you just know her preferred solution involves CBDC, which really isn't real money, that's just food stamps...

It's also feeling a distinct lack of respect for it's authority and will lash out wherever it can to reassert itself.
