Dear god, 5 months? It’s disgusting and amoral for early teens, but for literal infants? Cruel and unjust are understatements.

Hearthstone. Started playing as a young teen and liked the interesting gameplay and polish, and over time the problems started rolling in. They changed cards to pander to the woke (less boobs, sexist!) and the Chinese (no skeletons). The competitive scene was gutted and made less interesting (many good players left, or got cancelled, and poor players were shoehorned in for diversity). Meanwhile, different aspects of the UI radically shifted while gameplay kept gaining more and more bugs. They just ran out of good card ideas too. Right now the best new cards are just stat sticks or full clears that are too cheap. And the game takes too long to gain enough to feel rewarded

Here’s the thing, you’d never see “[verb]-ing (v)” in the dictionary because that’s a noun form of the verb, not the base verb itself. Even in the example you gave, “reading” isn’t the verb, “am reading” is, and it’s a conjugation of “read”, specifically the singular first-person present perfect(?) conjugation. Oddly enough “I am reading” can be construed two different ways because of this. I’m being semantic here, I admit, but I like grammar, and dictionaries like to be very specific about how they enter words.

They didn't even put the right figure of speech, as technically -ing verbs are gerunds, aka nouns. It should be "(to) queer code".

It's funny that it's a completely unrelated ethnicity too. "Hello my name is Xi Schnitzel and I'm from Beijing"

I was thinking the same thing. Why does it matter? At its core wokeness is disingenuous as it is wholly performative. If you're white and trying to overcome whiteness, you're not allowed to say you're improving or you're no longer "enacting whiteness". For example, a conservative CEO could do nothing political and then go home, kiss his wife, homeschool his 2 kids, and go to the shooting range OR he could enact company policies that could push his ideology actively, like by tweeting against mask mandates on the company twitter. However, the woke mob doesn't consider someone woke unless they actively try to "perform" it. A woke CEO MUST be tweeting or using discriminatory "affirmative action" policies or giving minorities/women special benefits for them to be considered woke. Thus acting woke and being woke are equivalent.

Have you noticed that a majority of military shooters are trying to go for at least a bit of realism? It’s almost like west has been fighting wars in the Middle East for DECADES or something. Some of it was for quick cash grabs but a good portion of the time we were fighting literal terrorists or tyrannical leaders trying to make the caliphate again. Stop complaining about the shoe fitting because the people you’re protecting would either kill you or make you a sex slave if given the chance.

Putting the mentally ill on drugs that change their body and then sending them to war? Sounds like a shittier version of the Reapers form Starcraft.

Which is fitting that they will literally ally with anyone to get the job done.

Seder probably doesn’t give a shit, he’s there to get brownie points from the left in an attempt to look intelligent and get a quick grab of popularity. It’s sad but telling that even the biggest of these leftist commentary creators are either completely inorganic or unpopular

Imagine mocking someone so hard that you’re crying laughing and then watch them post the next day “I make this idiot cry! I’m so smart!” The crowder vid shows that Ethan is both lying about Crowder hiding from him and that Crowder was scared as he was actively mocking Seder and calling out Ethan for hiding behind someone much less relevant to their faces.

Already 2 lines in and calling the Trump administration a “near-death experience” while employment plummets and have gas prices skyrocket the second the next guy comes in and stomps out all the work Trump did. Christ, how disingenuous to you have to be to start with a false pretense and then extrapolate this ridiculous logic even further?

Sometimes I wonder if people get their ideas from HG Well’s “The Time Machine”

Vaush is almost always wrong so Crowder will be fine. Like, seriously, who the fuck would ever listen to that fat hipster pedophile?

Not only that, but black holes take anything it can get close enough to and makes sure you can never get it back.

Right now my family life is rough. My whole immediate family is brainwashed to an insane degree. My sister praising CRT, my dad being hauled inconsistent with COVID (he wants to fire everyone at his job who doesn’t want to be vaccinated for “incompetence” but took several golf trips at the peak of the panic), and my whole family was gleefully talking about harassing my uncle who hasn’t taken it yet and taking his 10 year old to a vaccine appointment without his permission (only 12+ year olds are cleared for the vaccine anyways). I’m trying now to be thankful to him for raising me to do well in school but every conversation gets me a little more cynical about ever talking to my family after I finally finish school.

Because the US has what is called a progressive tax system, in theory those who earn their money all at once would have to pay more than someone who makes the same amount over decades, but the problem is that immediate fame and wealth often draws people who know how to break the system and also cause officials to turn a blind eye. I don’t like income tax, but if we do have to have one, a flat tax on income would be harder to break and would be less complicated to those who don’t have the time to figure out the BS tax system in the US.

The top 1% pay basically no income tax due to lobbying/loopholes/fraudulent accounting/offshoring. It mostly fucks over the middle class, who pay a huge portion of income tax, especially with respect to what share of income they gain. The large cities of the west/NE have already had a big squeeze on the middle class, and the South has not had that happen as much yet.

It’s because they have trouble understanding the difference between reality and mental fantasy, meaning assholes can easily give them the “I would be perfect if I was the other sex” idea and they’ll fall hook line and sinker for it. Just look at Chris Chan.

I think if it’s impossible to be sure of innocence then you should not be possible to be sentenced to death, as one of the worst things a government can do is directly kill an innocent man. However there are some very clear cut cases (video+audio evidence and plea without coercion) where it should not matter and any execution that is quick and easy will do. I also agree with other people’s sentiment that firing squad can be more quick and painless and certainly cheaper than the shitshow that are lethal injections.

What makes more white supremacists, a mainstream way to truthfully critique an idea, or letting those people fester and only reveal these ideas with the “bowel of the internet” with actual white supremacists? Idiot.

If you think someone COULD be innocent, why would killing them humanely be better than life imprisonment? They’re either clearly guilty of something completely heinous, in which case why care about their comfort, or there’s a possibility of innocence, in which case killing should be completely off the table. Killing the innocent should be verboten, regardless of how painful it was. I think execution should be reserved for specifically those clearly and certainly guilty rather than beyond a reasonable doubt.
