Property taxes are necessary, remove income taxes, the only people arguing for the former over the latter are usually on the government dole.

The government owns your property, and you rent it from them. If you stop paying at any time, they can take it from you and put better goy slaves who will pay them on your land.
Property tax is the absolute WORST tax. It is perpetual and can be changed at any time with no regard to your income level. It is the ultimate slave tax.
This is not the first time he's refused to understand this or the importance of it. Anyone who supports property taxes should just come out in the open and advocate for a return to feudalism directly.

Property tax only makes sense if you generate income from your property. Without that contingency, you are being charged for living. It is the absolute worst tax possible. Seriously. Government is the reason you have to work so hard to keep the things, that they ultimately say you don't own anyway and will take either while you earn the money for them, save the money for it, or after you die as part of an estate tax.

Income tax means the government owns your time and talent.
Sales tax means the government owns the fruit of your labor. Export tariffs are a sales tax.

Sales tax is only a problem because of other taxes. You blame the one thing that is actually under YOUR control. What you buy and how much.

Income taxes are necessary. But property taxes are inherently a bad thing because it means you never truly own your property. And aren't necessary if there is income tax. Why should there be property taxes if there is already income tax and sales tax? That's crazy. Property taxes is just a way to make sure people "own nothing and will be happy." The only reason income taxes aren't covering everything nowadays is because of corrupt politicians and because of too many government handouts to corporations. And when it comes to the USA, because of all the wars which eats up most of the tax dollars. Because war is insanely expensive due to the military industrial complex charging insane prices for every little thing. EDIT: And also because so many wealthy people pay only 1% in taxes or less or just nothing.

The majority of people who are arguing against property taxes are people who purchased a house and don't want to lose it one day. And think it's just unfair.
