Ah yes, the pilgrims were feudalists, same with the founding fathers and every rational economist. You understand that even if you don’t have property taxes you never own your property and the government can kick you off it at any given moment simply because they want to? Paying taxes or not paying taxes doesn’t make the property any more or less yours. Property taxes are bar none the least invasive tax there is and the one that doesn’t damage economic growth.
You want to pay your local lord for the privilege any and all material possessions because those actually just belong to the local lord and not you. Stop pussy footing around it and own your position: You don't believe in the concept of owning property.

The issue is not "I don't want to pay taxes" you disingenuous sperg, the issue is "I don't want to pay taxes because I already paid taxes on this and you don't get to charge me to continue owning things I actually own, otherwise I don't in fact own it."
Fucking roll up some new tax scheme to make up the difference in revenue that costs me exactly the same amount of money and I'm happy to pay it. It's a matter of principle not pragmatism you absolute fucking hobgoblin.
