If you haven't modded before, I've given you full permissions, so take a look around. We can eventually restrict access if you'd prefer so that you focus on your specific areas, like only working on the sidebar.

Just make it a weekly thing where every mod gets to ban him for a week and rotate until the heat death of the universe. That way it's fair and everyone gets a go.
I'm practicing restraint first. We've put up with him for weeks already, a few days of impotent sperging seems like a small cost to make sure everyone has a chance to make clear the minimum level of moderation they want. That said, I have no intention to fight anyone else's decision on the imp either.
I'm just here to do what I've always done, but with an extra button to get rid of obvious spam and save everyone some time.
Just so you know, I did go ahead and ban him. He's a sitewide ban evader, and was spamming and admitting to bad faith when he first arrived, and should have already been removed like a month ago. There was certainly cause, so I just did it.

Speaking just for myself, I'm certainly considering it, but these things have to be done carefully. It's bad management to come in and change things too drastically, but it's certainly on the list.
Also, u/BandageBandolier has been doing work, and manually approving a lot of stuff that was getting caught.
So, we're already improving there, but will have to settle into things a bit more - and decide the direction we want to go (community input included!) - on the topic.
As I've said, I don't want to change thigs much, until people have settled in at the very least, but we certainly have more options now that we have active mods.

Fuck it. I just banned Imp now, though. I was thinking of taking it slow too, but he's so egregious, and being an alt for a sitewide ban evader who has engaged in actually dangerous and likely illegal activity is enough of a reason. He's gone.
