These sweeteners and preservatives are probably causing asthma by means of climate change. Or maybe climate change is causing the sweeteners and preservatives that are causing asthma?
I believe it. Asthma is an inflammatory disease and anything that isn't real food (ie all the chemicals they put in ultra processed shit) cause inflammation.
Neotame - a sweetener in candies, drinks, baked goods and more
Aspartame - a sweetener in diet, low-fat and sugar-free items
sodium saccharin - a sweetener in drinks, food and some medications
ponceau 4R - a red food colouring
Sucralose - a sweetener in candy, drinks and chewing gum
benzoic acid - a preservative in food and medications
Cyclamate - a sweetener in beverages, desserts and jams
Acesulfame - a sweetener and flavour enhancer in baked goods
Dehydroacetic acid - a preservative in skincare, food and personal care products
Sunset yellow - a yellow food colouring
The funny thing is, its already obvious to anyone with common sense that eating artificial chemicals like these instead of real food is not going to be good for you.
Ya I just eat honey and types of real sugar but limit it. People are so addicted to sweetness they can't just moderate real sugars they have to mainline IV boatloads of crap.
I don't see stevia on here but its also bad and used effectively as contraception in south America where it originates. If any of your wives eat that shit do some reading as its probably suppressing their fertility.
It doesn't help that sugar is injected into absolutely everything. Even if you want to moderate, the available food is working against you. Basically you have to bag lunch absolutely everything and cannot ever eat out or buy anything other than ingredients.
Our country's food infrastructure is designed to sabotage people's efforts to get and stay healthy.
I think is more about making dirt cheap slop that people still want to eat. The best way to do that is to use a lot of salt, fat and sugar. Add some cheap chemical flavorings, and preservatives to give massive shelf life and you have what most people eat every day.
Yes, many mammals crave salt, fat, and sugar, as these are crucial for survival, though the intensity of the craving can vary by species and physiological need. These cravings are rooted in our evolutionary past, where these substances were scarce and energy-dense. For example, herbivores often seek out salt to supplement their sodium-deficient diets, while a modern brain's reward system can be hijacked by processed foods high in sugar, fat, and salt, leading to an increased desire for them.
I usually sprinkle kosher/sea salt to all my meals, because my partner is salt sensitive I dont use much salt in the actual cooking. But oddly enough, my sodium levels are still low.
I loved watching the show "Alone" because its the only demonstration I've ever seen of how much of a survival advantage it is to be fat at the start of winter.
If you dont make your own food, its impossible to keep proper limits on sugar/salt intake. And it really doesnt matter if your a active person whos doing hard or even mild labor. Sitting behind a desk is a killer.
I also dont trust artificial sugars since theres alot of research that shows they actually make you hungrier, thus craving more salt and fat lmao. Exactly the kinda evil shit you would expect out of the food corporations.
Yes, artificial sugars may make you hungry because they can disrupt brain signals that control appetite. When your brain tastes something sweet but doesn't receive the expected calories, it can lead to a mismatch, potentially increasing hunger and cravings over time. Some studies suggest artificial sweeteners can trigger a response similar to actual sugar, but because there are no calories, the body doesn't get the signal of fullness, leading to continued hunger and potential increased food intake.

Did they evaluate if obesity was a confounding factor? No. Known to increase asthma risk and fat kids eat more processed foods.
Did they evaluate if environment was a confounding factor? No. More processed foods in cities, along with China's pristine air quality.
And then there's the general, "what else do their processed foods contain off-label," question.
Maybe the results are still good, IDK. But I'm taking this with a grain of MSG.
I really want that allegation not to be true. I drink a lot of sucralose: it's my favorite sweetener. It's existed for like 50 years and has been one of the most tested artificial sweeteners. It's always been concluded as safe and non-toxic.
Sweeteners work in a couple ways. The first is that it is a sugar molecule that can't be split into glucose, and thus can't be absorbed through the gut. Since the sweetener is not absorbed by the gut it exits in the usual way.
Some of these sugar molecules are digestible by gut microbes, which leads to selection for gut flora that can gain energy from these indigestible sugars. This is what happens to people with lactose intolerance.
The second type are absorbed through the gut and then immediately eliminated by the kidneys. Sugar alcohols act in this way.
Changing the micro-biome has all kinds of complex effects. It isn't straightforward what the interactions between the micro-biome and the human immune system.
I know the frustration, friendo, I still consume a lot of artificial sweeteners, but recently I discovered that sucralose may contribute to a permeable intestine/leaky gut.
At high concentrations, aspartame and saccharin induce apoptosis and cell death, while at low concentrations, sucralose and aspartame increased epithelial barrier permeability and down-regulated claudin 3 at the cell surface.
I eagerly await all the people who jerked off the credentialism of these doctors to sudde ly realize that a degree doesn't make you an infallible font of wisdom. I'd support it if I didn't think that fact would disappear from memory the moment it suited them.
Not climate change?

Asthma is causing climate change that causes sweeteners and preservatives. You moron chud.
My bad. But I was morally right which is what matters.
CNN had this article last week: https://ghostarchive.org/archive/pvWqp
Climate Change 😄💫✨!

Lol, its about making it addictive as fuck.
Mammals are predictable creatures.

Exactly. Food quality is poor and additives are everywhere, aka slop.

At least you're too old for childhood asthma
He's not too old for other nasty diseases caused by inflammation though.
