Add to this that the British government is considering making YouTube a source for BBC programming, further pushing for a 'license fee' from the public for Internet access (And accessing Channel 4 is part of that sweet deal), and we have the British government thinking it can regulate the World Wide Web and denying its citizens the right to access information is implicitly guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Article 19 of the Declaration states that everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression, which includes the freedom to "seek, receive, and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers."

The same government led by a man who was knighted in 2014 for services to criminal justice, 5 years after signing off on the Jimmy Savile investigation into rampant child sex abuse at the BBC.

To say that the UK government is an embarrassment to civility could be an understatement.

Everything stated here is on the record and provable through official documented archives. No need for super-injunction bypassing or conspiracy theories.

This absolute joke of censorship by those who have proven themselves inept will be remembered from this point forward. Hopefully as a warning on how not to run a country.

That was some particularly demonic rhetoric. The very people who covered it up now accusing us of enabling it if we oppose them is impressive.

The licence fee is up for renewal in 2027 isn't it?

I'm thinking that they MIGHT sacrifice them to try and save themselves from voters, that's IF there isn't an election before then.

The Conservative Party, furious at Labour getting all the glory and credit for the Online Safety Act

Leave it to the Tories to do something so utterly retarded as try to get in on this when it's facing massive backlash.

utterly retarded

Is it? Using your enemy's own weapon to destroy one of their propaganda mills seems fairly smart to me.

Bonnie Blue having sex with over 1,000 men

She is the slippery slope in this story.

At that point it's less hotdog down a hallway, and more hotdog down the highway.

Bonnie Blue having sex with over 1,000 men were pixellated

This was a retarded idea for so many reasons but what I love the most about this is that IIRC OF only allows collaboration material to be released if all participants agree it can be released. Every person needs an OF account, every person needs to sign off on whatever the material is being allowed for release.

So it would take all of 1 of those 1000 men to extort the woman/others involved and make millions a couple of bucks or she can never release the video on OF.

And once 1 guy does it others would probably follow. Probably not all 1000 of them, maybe even only 100, but those 100 could ask for a stupid amount of money if someone was dead set on releasing that video.

Although I guess the chance exists all 1000 had to sign some kind of legal document where they promised not to do just that but then who knows how much such a document could hold up if so.

The Channel 4 documentary only showed preparations for the classroom scene rather than the footage itself. Clips showing Bonnie Blue having sex with over 1,000 men were pixellated, but the programme has still been widely criticised for promoting her brand and for failing to challenge adequately her assertion that her activity is harmless.

Why is Labour suddenly becoming all puritanical & pearlclutching about stronk independent women doing sex work?

Because they're pandering hard to certain groups that have very pointed opinions on such things?

Forgive me I'm wrong, but isn't Channel 4 one of those that is HEAVILY biased in favour of the establishment?

If so, seems they thought they were the exception to the rules and are now getting fucked.

"Controversial adult performer" is both an understatement and potential misnomer. Where is she even performing? She got banned from OnlyFans.
