Israel Katz said the plan, set for a proposed 60-day cease-fire, would relocate 600,000 Palestinians after security checks and bar them from leaving. (...)
Defense Minister Israel Katz said Monday that he has instructed the IDF to prepare a plan to establish a "humanitarian city" on the ruins of Rafah, which would eventually house the entire population of the Gaza Strip.
According to Katz, the plan involves moving 600,000 Palestinians, primarily from the al-Muwasi area, into the new zone after security screening. Once inside, residents would not be allowed to leave, the defense minister said. (...)
In a briefing with reporters, Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel aims to weaken Hamas by targeting its leadership, seizing territory, demilitarizing the Gaza Strip – and implementing what he called "the emigration plan, which will happen." He added that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is already leading efforts to explore countries willing to absorb Gazans.
However, an official familiar with the details told Haaretz that Israel does not expect the population transfer plan to proceed, and is not preparing to facilitate Palestinian emigration from Gaza. Israel has approached several countries to receive Palestinian refugees; however, according to the source, no state agreed to the plan.
Interesting how the word 'humanitarian' is now used rather freely.
"Then we make a reason to bomb it. Oh shit. Is this mic still on?"
I assume that if this were to happen (and it's a big if, this defense minister guy is widely considered to be a low IQ clown), that people in the Westoid areas would start to argue that not all concentration camps are hideous, and that they predate Nazi Germany. All of it true in part, but all if it will be contradicting all the stuff they've been saying for years.
If another country takes them, I'm guessing it's going to be Syria. That Al Qaeda guy has been such a friend to Israel that Trump said that Bibi requested that he lift sanctions on Israel. He's allowing Israel to occupy parts of Syria and to demolish homes to build military installations, and to bomb Syrian army assets at will, and reportedly also allowed Israel to use Syrian airspace for its attack on Iran.
Concentrating all the angry refugees in one place not so far away doesn't seem like the best idea for Israel. They'd probably rather spread them around the world, in small numbers here and there. A diaspora, if you will.
It's quickly becoming apparent that the revulsion the Powers That Be have towards the Holocaust was not because it was a genocide per se, but that it was a genocide targeting European Jews in particular (or in major part). Look at how there's so few people trying to get the Turks to pay reparations for the Greek and Armenian genocides, for example.
It is all so tiresome.
Yeah, no one even mentioned the holocaust for like a decade after the war, and it was widely dismissed by our own government and media as nonsensical propaganda.
Receipts?

John Beaty did all the intelligence briefs for ww2 and did not think the holocaust was real. The brass agreed and his book about Jewish infiltration was widely endorsed.
Actually, there's an easier meter. It was a genocide committed by geopolitical foes. That means it's bad.
Same rule there's for everything else. Human rights violations by Russia? War started by Russia? All bad. By fbuddies, it's all good.
Don't forget the Assyrian Genocide. All of which are denied by Turkey, by the way. So NATO ally of the Westoid empire Turkey is at the same level as a Holocaust denier, except that these people have no power and denial of Turkey's holocausts is state policy.
They also don't mind that Turkey occupies half of Cyprus.
Why? Ally. If Turkey were to fight with the US, all this would come out instnatly.
I don't know how true this is. How much does the mainstream media/the Powers That Be talk the Holodomor? I suppose that we can chalk it up to a communist genocide, and we are occupied by communists in our governments, but it doesn't fully explain it. Same with the Cambodian genocide, or the Rwandan genocide, even the Uighur genocide apparently going on right now in China.
"Hey! I've seen this one, this is a classic!"
The irony is they're already claiming that Rafah is an ancient jewish historical site.
Which is probably why they're so eager to destroy those pieces of land. They don't want any truth from ancient history making it's way into the modern frame. It would ruin their cause entirely.
"explore countries willing to absorb Gazans."
For effs sake not here
Oh the irony of them calling Gazans "Nazis" as they do this.
I've had multiple people say the gazans deserve this because they "started" the war . Okay, so why don't we just exterminate every Japanese after WW2? Along with every single German?
Of course what they say makes no sense. Neither side is based on logic or empathy. It's just ego and self-gratification.
Because Japan offered their unconditional surrender. Until that point the United States was planning to invade Japan, with both sides expecting half the Japanese population to be wiped out by combat and starvation.
I watched Rogue One again recently, and this reminds me of Jehda City in that movie. Put a bunch of people who hate you into a tiny area and it’ll explode like a pressure cooker. Wonder if Israel do this so in the near future they get a chance to wipe them out after this move (inevitably) goes horribly wrong.
Wait until the
holocausthumanitarian centers go up.Only 600,000 left why stop now
Woe to the vanquished.
Just blow them up lmao. Stop the pretense.
The funniest part of this whole situation is seeing jews online argue that it's not a genocide because they're feeding them. I can't wait for the typhus outbreak in gaza or the interruption of their supply lines.
Our greatest ally will use concentration camps to genocide the majority of the Palestinians left in Gaza, then will export whoever is left to the US.
And we will pay for everything.
So, a Concentration Camp.
