Kenji Urada rolls in his grave.

Correction: Urada was the second known fatality caused by a robot. Robert Williams was the first.

Isn't there already a ton of automation in Amazon's factories? and the workers are worked like robots.

The infamous Wage Cage™ was an Amazon patent.

This has been a goal for a while. Every business convention I've been to is aiming at the single capable man theory. Most of these businesses don't understand that their business is also in trouble if everything can be automated. Who works at a company when it only needs five?

It's weird to watch because every business is convinced it will be someone else below them or at another business. A friend did the entire design document of a full sized Theme Park, then did much of the BIM design as well. One guy. That's about 500 people taking 5 years to make, and he did it within 3-6 months. People are scared to hire him because of that. He is their destroyer, so they are trying to roll him out of the business. All of them are fairly left, or NPC style people.

There is stuff like this in every industry. It's a scary subject in every direction.

Nothing strange about this. Automation is not something to be rebuked, but controlled to our own benefit.

AI is a weapon. The safe utilization of weaponry is by decentralizing firepower. The only way to keep people safe from AI is to make personal AI's operated outside of the mainframe.

We're just currently in the mainframe period. That will change in 10 years. In the mean time, you will have to embrace AI for your own benefit to maintain productivity.

Shut up race communist. The only reason your job will be replaced by AI is because you're as useless a dozen pajeets.

Isn't it wild that even though you do have to compete, they win out because they're better workers?

Shows a lot about you.

No I mean workers who actually work and can get through a day without crying about how it's too hard to have a conversation

What happened to all that white supremacy? Doesn't your master race IQ protect you enough?

Or are you really just a 65 point savage that is hoping for someone else to give you a pick-me-up? Tell your mom to stop feeding you mercury for breakfast.

The guy only said "white" men can't get a job doing anything else. He didnt make a general comment about automation. You guys are only interpreting it that way. But are Whites the only ones working at Amazon and assembly lines right now? Not saying anything wrong with that kind of work but his comment was honestly insulting.

Good manufacturing jobs gave way to low level service jobs from the 1970s onward. Good jobs are eliminated and/or get replaced by inferior alternatives. That’s what he’s talking about.

Do they mean automation or outsourcing when they say AI and robotics?

There WILL be job losses from automation but it won't be as great as the media try to fear monger as the machines need overseers in case they fuck up to minimise damage.

Automation and AI will devastate Hollywood and conventional media including some art as the damage they can do by f'ing up is nothing compared to the damage they ALREADY do inserting ideology.

If we automate all the jobs, how will people be able to afford to consume?

White and non Whites work these jobs. Skilled jobs are still available too. DEI is a problem but it's not in control everywhere.
